Just a few additions and/or corrections: I don't think his performance against Saga, Shura and Camus can be taken as a solid feat when all of them were essentially putting on an act to fool Hades and have Shaka master the 8th Sense, with Camus not even using Aurora Execution and Saga not using a full power Galaxian Explosion. That said, Another Dimension wouldn't be as difficult to escape from as if Saga was serious as it's shown he can control where the victim is sent to (ie. conveniently sending Hyoga to Camus in the Libra Temple). The statement of Aiolia being one of the two strongest Gold Saints shouldn't really be treat as the best evidence when it's said by Cassios, whereas more reliable characters have said things of the contrary such as Shura saying he's the strongest Gold Saint or Mu having no doubts about stopping Aiolia if a fight was necessary in the Poseidon Arc. It's also worth noting the line in the anime only says Aiolia is one of the strongest Gold Saints, which is far more vague. It should also be added that mastery of the 8th sense makes a user significantly superior to their 7th sense self. This is apparent when Seiya had already gained enough control of the 7th sense to overpower Deathmask without difficulty despite later struggling with Specters like Lune and Valentine, whereas Kanon easily killed Lune and bested Rhadamanthys (keep in mind a Judge like Minos could casually punch through a Freezing Coffin that Hyoga stated several Gold Saints wouldn't be able to scratch) despite the previous arcs suggesting the Gold Saints aren't so different in power that Saga/Kanon could treat Deathmask like a child without their techniques. This is also reinforced by secondary material such as The Lost Canvas and Episode G: Assassin. For his Next Dimension appearance, it should definitely be from his spiritual self rather than any illusion as made apparent by his words of Nirvana as well as other dead Gold Saints being shown to have similar travels through space-time such as Aiolos recreating his message in the 18th Century version of the Sagittarius Temple. It's also worth clarifying that the speed scaling from the Winged Bronze Saints should only apply to 8th Sense Shaka. The Shura feat would also apply as a miracle rather than standard scaling as it's made very apparent Shura needed to go beyond his limits to create a miracle and move that fast.
You wrote so much so wanted to say something. It can definitely be taken as a solid feat just to a lesser degree than a bloodlust fight which arguably non of them wher but What I noted more was the performance of Tenbu Horn and how they viewed it as a life threatening technique in Japanese. While heavy debated a least among those I talk to I feel 8th sense does not provide a boost in power but simply related to the abilities of the soul such as with Aiolos whose very soul traveled not just the message itself. You are right about Shura but it can scale to god cloth users and those comparable.
@@godclothshango1194 Yeah, perhaps I worded the first part a bit too definitively. I agree with you that it's indeed worth noting, though with the addition that the context means none of them were going at the best of their abilities. One part from it that would have been worth noting as a great feat though is how he took three simultaneous attacks from them that were likely pretty serious and only escaped with a scratch thanks to Kahn, showing how it's probably the best defensive technique amongst the Gold Saints other than Crystal Wall and Freezing Coffin (when the latter's used defensively). I'd say it's pretty hard to argue against the 8th Sense offering a boost in power (at least when fully mastered) given how it's used in supplementary material and Shaka oneshotting a Seiya that was trying to draw his Cosmo to its limits supports that, if anything. The Bronze Saints had raised their Cosmo to levels said to surpass the Gold Saints at various points throughout the previous arcs such as Shiryu being stated to be beyond the Gold Saints against Deathmask or Seiya's Suiseiken overpowering the Galaxian Explosion and the original manga never contradicted that notion directly. With how easy Seiya was able to access Gold Saint tier strength prior and how great his base self was at the time combined with feats he'd pulled off recently before (damaging Rhadamanthys who in turn had fatally wounded Orphe, someone confirmed by the manga and Taizen to be stronger than the Gold Saints and on Judge level respectively, oneshotting Valentine, etc.) it seems very doubtful Shaka would be able to accomplish such a feat with his regular power if Seiya was anywhere close to those displays going off purely his manga feats of power. Yeah, I have no issue with it scaling to those bringing the 7th sense to their limits or to any God character.
@@choueriito2548 Only supplementary that goes deeply into the 8th sense is lost canvas which does so unlike anything else in the rest of the franchise. The bronze saints in moments can indeed raise there cosmo beyond gold saints but don't forget Shaka was also trying to raise his cosmo to destroy the wall. seiya overpowered GA with the power of the other saints as well. As for the bronze saints base they state themselves that Rhadamanthys was more powerful than they were combined, and they were overpowered and knocked out by Acheron Charon and needing to be saved by Kanon who one shot him, this leads me to say base bronze are strong in base but below the strongest of gold saints consistently. @@godclothshango1194 Episode G: Assassin also points towards Mastered 8th Sense > Mastered 7th Sense in power with Shura getting stomped by Lancelot initially before overpowering him with the 8th sense unlocked. Whilst it's true Shaka could've indeed been above his regular limits (certainly eases his hax in Next Dimension a bit too), it still remains that Seiya had raised his Cosmo to levels at least close to the Judges quite recently, of which should surpass what the Gold Saints displayed in the Sanctuary Arc and early Hades Arc (other than perhaps Dohko and Shion) via scaling from Orphe (supported by Taizen) who shouldn't be leagues lower than Minos going by him being intimidated at Aiacos' defeat. If anything, Shaka so easily elevating his Cosmo would point towards mastery of the 8th Sense making it easier to boost one's Cosmo. This is seemingly supported by Ikki's fight with Aiacos as he could previously only prove a mild distraction to Saga and Kanon when using the 8th Sense normally and just surpassed Shaka with his extreme first awakening of it, yet he constantly adapted to the level of someone arguably stronger than them and eventually stomped him after acquiring the 8th Sense. There's also Rhadamanthys estimating he could still beat Aiolia, Mu and Milo without Hades' Barrier yet being at best on par with Kanon, despite Milo also estimating it'd be possible for him to be comparable to a clothless Kanon. There's also the fact Mu struggled with a Terrestrial Star Spectre like Myu and Celestials below Judge level could still do very well against Gold Saint tier attacks such as Gordon overpowering Shiryu's Excalibur. Despite the power boost of 8th Sense mastery being vague, I'm honestly not seeing much directly going against it. That's a fair point with Charon, whose boast of his oar moving at around Mach 35 is pretty lackluster, though it is worth noting this was when Seiya had just woken up and had yet to fully master the 8th Sense as Shaka had. It wasn't long before that he'd overpowered Deathmask without a significant elevating of his Cosmo and endured a surprise attack from Valentine fairly well, so his more consistent power at the time would probably be closer to Deathmask level (not that that'd change anything against Rhadamanthys). Minor correction, but Kanon beat Lune with no difficulty and not Charon, though that reinforces my point on the 8th Sense considering my previous points on Seiya as well as logically weaker Specters such as Myu, despite the original manga treating the Gold Saints as very much a collective tier with the difference between the Gold Saints not treat as gargantuan outside of the strongest moves such as Galaxian Explosion and Tenma Kofuku. Imo Shijima is stronger than Shaka. Prior to their battle Shijima had already been significantly weakened due to the poison and white rose of the Pisces saint. This would mean that he wasn't at 100%. Now with Shaka basically being a soul/astral projection in the fight, he definitely had the advantage. More stamina/energy as he's not in a physical body and therefore won't suffer from fatigue as one with a body would. Another thing is that I've always assumed that the AE didn't kill Virgo. The whole rose petal message he sent to Athena and the fact that his gold cloth sustained no damage and came with him to the underworld had in my opinion alluded to the fact that Shaka was alive. After getting the message from Shaka, Athena killed herself and when she was next seen, Shaka had was there with her. Presumably waiting for her. It was all a part of the plan for them to confront Hades directly. Until Athena came up with another plan to destroy Hades' true body.
Shijima temple guardian power has no affect on the state shijima himself was in, it was put in place long before he was hurt as well so there is no advantage in fact both said they couold fight and die forever.
