I got to see Phil when he toured with Love Song! I remember going to Resurrection City in Berkley and seeing Phil, Second Chapter of Acts, Love Song and others I miss the Jesus movement from back then.
This is so fitting to be on my video list on RUclips since my family and I just saw him and Randy Stonehill perform in concert We Love Phil Keaggy Absolutely Incredible Musician and Even More Importantly A Follower Of Jesus Christ God Bless You Phil Keaggy 🎵⛪️👴🏻🎸🎵✝️😊
Always appreciate Phil Keaggy and his heart. I have been listening to his music for a little over 40 years and God has used it to minister, heal, and bless my soul. Thank you Phil Keaggy!!
Love you Phil. You’ve have been such a blessing to my wife and I. When we were young Christians you came to to Troy Ohio several times and we were always there! One time our young bible study group had an all night bowling party and you and Peter York came and played at the bowling alley and hung out with us. What has always blessed us is how genuine and fun loving you were then and remain today. You’re love of the Lord, His Word, and His people shines through. May God Richly bless you, Bernadette and all your family. Great interview!
RICH!!!! Thanks for swinging by, my friend. I'm glad you enjoyed this interview. It's very near and dear to my heart. Now get back to posting memes!! 🙂
Well done! You featured two of Phil's songs that don't get mentioned too much in fan forums but that are among my faves. "Blessed be the ties" is my favorite track from *Sunday's Child*. And "Round about you" is on a Lent playlist that I listen to every Lent/Easter season. -Tom
Thank you for this great conversation with Phil he is my favorite artist, what a Godly man. Have seen him 5 times, more than any other artist. When you see Phil you are seeing a friend, a brother in the Lord. ❤
I must thank you again. This was a trip down the recesses of my mind. Growing in in kcmo, I was ar a Bible study where, on occasion Paul Clark would play and sing. I remember the evening we were asked to stop calling Paul "Pinkie"
Phil mentioned that sometimes he tries some songs where doesn't really know what he is doing (running on faith?). I saw him at The Vogue Theatre in Vancouver one night. He was tired from travelling and admitted that to us. He was still playing very well and he got into some improvising. At one point he was getting this feedback note from his acoustic guitar. So I shouted out a request for "I Feel Fine." Phil went right into it and had fun the with the riffs until his memory of the song disappeared. He was sort of apologetic for not remembering it fully. However, I felt that it was a wonderful effort and we connected on the interaction.
So glad this page found me, thanks Jesus.

I made a 'pilgrimage' to Love Inn as I was trying to find my way in the Lord. What a blessed time it was. Probably 1982. I got to meet Gary Heddon.

Grest interview. What Phil exudes more than anything is integrity.
That's encouraging for you to say. There are a lot of adjectives I would use to describe Phil. Integrity is a good one to start with!!
