About to fly to Germany later and I only got my flights for $50 with points. Oh and I’ll be spending 3 nights in Berlin and my hotel was free. And my rental car was $50 with points.
Literally free money and no hiccups booking anything. Credit card rewards are great 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yes Rachel, I opened 4 cards in less than a year BEFORE turning 20. I also happened to stumble upon your dad's show this year, and got 'finally' convinced to cut them up. After a few months in my 20's, I did it and won't look back. I filmed it too!

@@lschmitt5912 Why worry? If you cut them out of your life, your score will be 0, and you're not playing the game.

Credit cards are great if you use them right(use it like a debit card). The reason they offer these great deals is because so many people leave balances giving them thousands in revenue each month. It’s all about being organized and getting the sign up bonuses!
We pay off our cards every month and have never kept a balance but because of these cards my husband was able to increase his credit score massively due to low credit utilization over two years and we got a better rate on our house! We were also able to go to Egypt for $87 per person, Isreal for $250 per person, Indonesia and Malaysia for under $300 round trip per person, France round trip around $300 round trip and we just bought a trip to Tahiti for $140 round trip last week🎉

I’m an adult using two major credit cards to earn points and/or benefits. I pay my balances on time every month and stay within budget. It’s a bit unrealistic to tell reasonable adults that paying attention to their budget can’t earn them benefits.

I agree, but she is promoting the best plan to fit many people who don't have self control. Luckily, I don't have that problem as my family tells me I'm so cheap the only time I let go of a dollar is to get a tighter grip.

I use my credit card for work related expenses and in return I get to take advantage of the points. I figured if I'm giving my company an interest free loan on my money until I'm reimbursed. I might as well get something out of it. Last year my flights to Columbia(roundtrip) were paid for with my Amex points. With that being said, Amex probably doesn't like me because I always pay the balance on or before its due.

I have 2 credit cards, one for flights and the other for hotels. Through all my business travel with my company, I have acquired enough points to pay for several international trip flights and hotels . It my case this works perfectly, but business travels accounts for 30-40k spent each year to gain those points.

Yes, there are people out there that actually 'play' the game and win. It is all about organization. Those with an emergency fund, have a firm handle on their finances and schedules for due dates, etc. can easily meet all the dates and loopholes other people with lesser organization skills get trapped by.
