    You might want to correct your written narrative. Seabrook is a 140 mile drive to Seattle not a 3 mile drive. I have visited, it is a Disneyfied version of a seacoast village for reasonably affluent people. .It is overcast or raining about 2/3rds of the year so don't expect getting a tan on the beach.

    Not a bad place--for a newer community it is pretty nice. That being said you can get property for a lot less on the southern Washington coast--Long Beach isn't as new or shiny but for people who are retired or work from home I think it is a better choice.

      I agree. Long Beach is great. The only difference is drive time from Seattle for a lot of people. It’s less than 3 hours to Seabrook. If my memory serves me right there is a lot of horse riding/ equestrian areas in Long Beach?

    • @courtneyinsea
      @courtneyinsea 2 месяца назад +1

      @@LivinginWesternWashington425 It might be an extra 30 min to drive from Seattle to Long Beach compared to Seabrook, but with Long Beach you also can get to Portland in about 2 hr. Not to mention Long Beach is only 10 min to a hospital in Illwaco and 30 min to major retailers like Fred Meyer and Walmart in Oregon (no sales tax is a nice bonus for the weekly shopping too), whereas with Seabrook you're going to have to drive to 45 min into Aberdeen to get to fill basic needs. I guess it depends on individual lifestyle preferences, but for me Seabrook is ridiculously overpriced for what it's offering.

      That’s a great couple questions. It’s hit and miss when it comes to the weather anywhere in the PNW. Seabrook gets its fair days of sunshine and the warmest months are July, August and September with temps in the low 70’s. Winter months temps are in the 30-40’s. As is the case with most places near the coast the winds pick up in the afternoon and evenings. It does get its fair share of rain in the winter months. The times I have been to Seabrook the weather has been terrific. There is plenty to do there and it’s a great place to just hang out in any weather. really sad & nothing to do with you, this is where communities have been wreaked & ground into dust, first drastically cutting the timber industry thru legislation, the owl & such, harvesting & replanting timber was the life blood of these comunities, those jobs gone the forest tinder & select foresting, eliminating every 6th tree, those good people forced to move but not before Fentanyl tore havic on the unemployed loggers, aka also the reason for all of our karma 🔥 fires... just so California can again steal land to build resorts & homes only a select few can afford, you buy into the ashes of those good folks
    no thank you ! GOD BLESS our washington 🙏 loggers sad😢 really sad 😔 enjoy the view I know they did

      I feel like the timber industry was once thriving and has dissolved in so many communities on the coast. I feel like Aberdeen was once booming and just not anymore. All valid points Brendalo! Thanks for commenting here.

      Hi Shenel3202. If I was making any money off this I would send you some to go get dinner at Koko’s there at Seabrook. Actually never sold a house there and no one gave me a dime to do any of this. I would most certainly being willing to work with someone if Seabrook was a good fit and I don’t mind driving to the coast. So I am hoping that can happen for sure. I do real estate videos to enlighten the public about the choices that are out there. Do I think Seabrook is a wonderfully planned community-Yes. Do I get paid anything for sharing my thoughts and video on Seabrook-No I do not. Thanks for writing in and commenting. I hope you have a great weekend.
