If I remember, FNAF 4 sorta acts as a prequel to the franchise.
The game series is famous for having one of the most complex timelines in gaming so I can guarantee with certainty that there is no one video you can watch that really completely understands the story without getting a lot wrong
Fun fact: In the original trailer, Bonnie was support to run in the hallway but instead got replaced with Foxy during that sequence

I would say it’s more of psychological horror / thriller because the lore, anticipation, jump scares and sounds of it is what make it’s actually scary. Doesn’t stop me personally from liking it :)

I would suggest you to react to the fnaf lore. The story is pretty mysterious and interesting to follow through. I recommend The game theorists channel. He has probably the best theory videos about fnaf. You can watch all of his fnaf theories from beginning until now which will take a whole lot of time but you will understand the story to the fullest, or you can watch 1 video that explains the whole story which is super cramped.

@@rwqfsfasxc4668 IDK about that. The most recent update to the Freddy Files confirmed quite a few of their theories. And Gregory being a robot has to be correct (if they're not gonna make Vanessa a robot) because the latest books have robot children quite a lot.

It's interesting that Vanessa has lots of dialogue in the trailer about getting Gregory out with her and saying the animatronics won't stop hunting them when none of that is said in game at any point
Not even just Vanessa’s dialogue. Her lines as Vanny, Freddy’ line in the first trailer, that mystery voice are all absent from the game. I’m curious on who was in charge of the trailers

It's not mainly the fan's fault. Most of the mistakes fall onto Steelwool's shouders. They wanted to do too big too fast. By that I mean they were too ambitious when this was their first fnaf game.
It has the same problems as cyberpunk, but not for the samz reasons

The lore of this franchise is the reason why the games are so cool and interesting.
Just to clue you in, fnaf pizzeria simulator and custom night didn't actually have trailers so the person who made the video made their own trailers for the games. The release of the games are really weird looking back, it was supposed to end at four and then five and then Scott juked the whole fanbase saying fnaf 6 was cancelled or something and then with no warning pizzeria sim randomly appeared for free and shocked everyone. Scott had a running theme of spontaneously and randomly releasing games with rarely much warning lol

you should react to the video "FNAF: everything you need to know" by FootofaFerret and game theory. They explain the lore so well and in 27 mins. i highly recommend it to anyone who wants to know the story in the games
Just a little “tip” if they jumpscare you they stuff you into a suit thinking its empty while its completely filled with cables and an exoskeleton so yeah you can guess how that plays out.
The thing about thr jumpscares in these games are usually that they don't feel cheap at least. It always feels like a consequence for you messing up. You forget to do something to keep a character out, you get killed. I mean of course you have know what you did to see it coming, but at least it doesn't feel like "wtf that wasn't fair I did everything right and still died"

Nice reactions! The fourth one and help wanted are the ones I find the most tense in terms of atmosphere. I’ve played this series for a long time but I can’t play four alone in the dark. I tried to be all edgy and tough playing it at 4 AM in the dark once but I ended up having a hard time getting to sleep and was trembling from how nervous it made it feel to peak around the doors in the dark in-game.
I only recommend playing this game if you’re REALLY interested in the lore and can persevere. The FNAF games all the way up until the newest one FNAF Security Breach are VERY hard and takes lots of patience and quick reactions. Consider yourself warned. It’s time consuming.

I suggest reacting to FNAF Tapes by Battington! It's a fan made series making them like found footage and realistic in design.
I strongly suggest you react to FNAF's lore. FootofaFerret made a really good video that manages to compress the lore into a (relatively) short video. It's wild, it took us literal years to piece it together (and we still don't know if we're entirely right...)

It's all so disappointing that this community rushed Scott. Security Breach could've been so much better but people decided not to give the man a break.

if the community didn't bash FNaF 3 for "not being scary" then the lore wouldn't be as bad and none of the games after it would've existed
That's why I'm glad he took his time with the movie. I've been in this fandom since pretty much the beginning and there's been talk of a movie for a long-ass time, but filming only just started this year. Scott went through (I believe) six or seven different possible scripts before seemingly finally settling on one he's happy with, and as an artist and a writer myself, I greatly respect him for that. Artists should never be afraid to start over and try again if they aren't completely satisfied with the product, practice makes perfect after all.

It wasn't just the community that rushed the Security Breach developers. Executives have far more power over them than fans, and they also admitted to suffering from scope creep, adding too much into the game that wasn't part of their initial plan and ballooning how long it would take to make it.
You should definitely watch the VHS tapes of these by Squimpus McGrimpus
If interested in story more than horror, its smth I recommend you just look up instead of playing for cause lore is always hidden and minimal for you to piece together yourself. (Lots of ARG stuff)

The FNaF 1 game was actually still in development, so Bonnie doesnt run in the Hallways anymore.
Also, Springlock suits were designed if the Animatronics itself needed to be fixed, so people put on the Springlock Suit so the kids would stay happy, and not bored. But the thing is with the Springlock Suits, Move To Much, And Be Dead, because the Suit was still used for normal Animatronics, so the Gears were still in there, so if People put it on and move to much the Gears will Activate and yes, Lock You Up, And Squish You Up.
Bonnie running in the hall wasn't because FNaF 1 was still in development, it's because Scott wanted to keep Foxy as a surprise

Will say this, the first 4 games have a specific order to play in for chronological events that occur. The order is 4, 2, 1, 3. Then every game afterwards that came out in order would be the way to play them if you do end up playing all of them. W

The story of Security Breach is you (Gregory) are locked inside of Freddy’s after closing time and the rabbit, who is also the night guard, is trying to trick you in to dying and she hacked every animatronic but Freddy to kill you.
So i read the title and i though horror hate was in like you despise it in an angry way, nah your reaction told it all 😂

The reason for the "He Always Comes Back" is for William Afton / Springtrap, and the reason for the two rows of teeth is because the Endo is one part, but the shell is the other part

Lowkey security breach might have been scary if they killed the lights to the level of the endo section everywhere.
In my opinion, moon is the scariest or creppiest character in FnaF security breach, i dont feel scared for the other characters, thats why sun and moon are my favorite :)
Pizzeria Simulator doubles as a simulator (real shocker there lol) and essentially a lore dump in the form of mini games and OG fnaf style gameplay. It’s a fun game. It looks bright and cheery, but it has its genuinely creepy moments. The “trailer” in all honesty isn’t an actual trailer. It’s the main intro of the game. The game silently dropped on steam with very little public announcement (I.e. a tweet or textual post if I remember correctly) so it doesn’t have a trailer. Same goes for Ultimate Custom Night

i would love to watch you play FNAF honestly...... but also i don't want you to play it if you're going to be miserable xD i love this franchise from watching gameplay, but i couldnt get past the first two nights of the first game myself, im terrible at horror but love watching other people do it xD and the game is suuuper interesting when you get into it. the hidden stuff is really cool and the gameplay is super creative throughout the different games. there are elements similar between each game, but they all have pretty dramatically different imaginings of similar ideas. big fan.
The VR one is so scary. It has all the past games in it but has its own too! So it's not just "The FNAF games in VR".

In my opinion the 6th game (FNAF pizzeria simulator) is the scariest one, since theres no time limit and its far more challenging and more fair.
The games are way scarier than the trailers, and the scariest games in the franchise are Fnaf 1, Fnaf 4, Fnaf Sister Location, and Fnaf VR (my opinion)

That second to last Security Breach trailer just makes me a bit sad, since it was teasing a story we ever actually got. We don’t know who the male voice was.(Most likely William but his voice changed for some reason). It seems like Vanessa would have been on our side and would probably have a Sun to Moon moment but with Afton instead of the lights turning off. I remember the hype from that specific trailer. I guess Steel Wool ran out of time to fully develop that part of the story,(which looking at the game now would most likely slide in best with the Princess Quest ending, or the Afton ending).
Basically Pizzeria Simulator puts you in charge of managing your own Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza.

23:25 A good chunk of stuff from the trailers has been cut from Security Breach due to a variety of issues, so a lot of the horror, story, and polish is straight-up missing. Characters are written differently to make up for the story being gutted, but it's still very much patched-together.

It’s kinda like juicing but not really William was pushed into a room by the kids spirits that he killed and they forced Him into the spring Bonnie suit which he stood up and mocked the ghosts for being scared of him then William started laughing and either water caused the springs to become loose which is unlikely or loosened the spring by laughing which caused the springs to release and sent them into his body witch he bled out but did not die completely and William is in agonizing pain every second as he is feeling the spring locks in his body😌

i'm unsure if anybody has commented this already, but Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator doesn't have a trailer. What you were shown was the pre-game gameplay (I know, doesn't make sense. But it will if/when you play the game), the intro, and the cutscene that plays after Night 1.
as for Ultimate Custom Night, the trailer is comprised of footage from notable FNaF RUclipsrs playing a pre-release copy that Scott (the creator of the game) gave them. gameplay-wise, it's an endurance test: 50 animatronics of customizable difficulty, each with their own unique mechanics, all out to get you.
Help Wanted is MUCH more than just the first game in VR. It's the first three games, as well as a collection of minigames based on the first five. Additionally, there are small droplets and hints and clues of, at the time, "the start of the NEW Five Nights at Freddy's story," so yes, it _is_ lore-relevant.

The security breach trailer voice talking really has nothing to do with the game because the company in charge of the game for some reason completely changed up the story

To me the scariest FNAFs are 1, 4, and Pizza Sim, I won't say why Pizza Sim is scary it just is, Pizza Sim is also my favorite as it is in a way the ending to the series, with Help Wanted starting a new chapter in a way.
This series means alot to me and I would totally be down with you playing the games and watching Game Theory, it's interesting to see someone watch FNAF game theory from the start due to how much the lore has changed.

Regarding the teeth I saw a series somewhere that suggested the reason they have so many teeth is because they were programmed it to be able to sit down and have a slice of pizza with the kids. Which might explain why some of the animaTronics have two different sets of teeth.

FNAF 2 is actually the sequel to FNAF 1, so the animatronics were originally deteriorated and then later fixed up for FNAF 1.
