That was truly a magical show, that and the one before it that was titled East Side Story. The ensemble are some great musicians and singers. Joey's voice is amazing!!
This is the exact same intro Miguel-Atwood Ferguson used in the Suite for Ma Dukes for "Angel." Every last note till the end. And yet, I'm still marveled by the texture and crispness of the whole thing.
Thats an interesting perspective David.. I have no horse in the race, however, I have developed a huge appreciation for Vulpek and what each of these guys do as individuals.....solid shit. Not sure what you don't like about those vocals...they are great. To each his or her own I suppose.
@@buildinit6523 Damn Sweet! His voice is not good at all. The band and background singers bailed him out. Nice try though. When you're trying to sing classics you have to kill it and he did not...far from it!!! The people who liked this was being gracious!
That woman at 4:50... music pours from every part of her soul. I approve.
Terrific voice......such a talented kid. Keys, sax, vocal madness...go Joey!

Just wow! Great performance!

I was wondering why it sounded so familiar! You right.

OMG! Elizabeth Lea from Tedeschi Trucks Band! Love.
Anyone noticed Herbie Hancock's "Tell Me a Bedtime Story" reference in the intro?
Eduardo Peixoto de Almeida checc out Pieces of A Dream 's version of Tell Me
I did not. But did you know that the entire intro was actually Golden Lady by Stevie Wonder up til about the 55 second mark?
For anybody wondering: Song starts at 01:48
Maybe David meant a more powerful voice would have been more appropriate... Anyway, still a great performance!!
To sing anything from Stevie Wonder you got to have soul sorry buddy he couldn't pull that song off 🤦🏾♀️
Not impressed
thats it??? figures

For me the lead vocals are seriously letting this down!... Bland..
