This update is certainly a massive improvement to the already fun and challenging map and also shows your growth in map building , and your love for the map as a whole. While this map is certainly a Masterpiece (which is bold of me to say) from your works, Aside from the other segments of which can also be more improved, (Such as the Tower itself, while the design overall is great and intentional, it looks quite plain ngl. Maybe you can Add more torches, gradients, cracks, cult symbols, and some mush and vines maybe to the sides, these might be subjective and biased so you can choose to add any other things you might like or just completely none at all) I would like to talk about that one Part of your Map that in my opinion stands out the most. That part of the Bridge in your whole Map: "Where you're running so fast and quickly just for your life and survival, hastily and recklessly climbing to the sides of the bridge just to escape. The Engulfing Lava that rises so fast and wants to devour you and this whole place as a whole, but then suddenly abruptly stops - as you notice this unexpected and inprecedent pause, an abrut wave sense of Intense relief washes over you. But in that very instant, not even giving you time to live blindly to your own sense of illusions and delusions as you are and will always be trapped in this place, you already Hear and Witness each part of the Bridge all falling down to the very void of the lava one by one, as if waiting for the Entire Bridge to Collapse with You on it, with that sick hard asf drop beat." In my opinion, that section of your map is clearly the best out of all the other segments. It takes you from blindly and ambiguously feeling safe, to just suddenly getting caught off guard, filling you with sheer anxiety and nightmares, making you either sprint faster in a state of panic to escape this h3llhole or messes up and cowardly fall with the bridge. I'm not overreacting when I say it's certainly almost a masterpiece, one that will get remembered for some time by the playerbase and might even be worthy of being added to FE2, but this can even be improved more, and I go out of my way to express it out of admiration for your map. Here's a few suggestions: you could also consider adding a few more parts of the bridge that Rust Gradually before Falling Down rapidly of which is too Abrupt and Subtle to notice, and enhance or increase the impact sound of the Falling Bridge to eventually just give the players an even greater and worse sense of shock and a state of panic attack. I know this is already the Final Update and it's just my opinion and nitpicking, but I think it could maybe work out better for your map. Good work.
This map really deserves to be a permanent map on FE2. The gameplay, map design, OST, and the detail are just astounding. Desert Ruins might just be my favourite map of all time. You really outdid yourself there!

I knew it was going to become something special and would you look at that your getting a lot of awesome comments about this map and this is why ever since I saw the update it has been my favourite map all along even though the old version wasn’t the greatest thing you knew that and made it into this masterpiece! This deserves to be in the main game I love the new details and the new button and OST overall a super fun, good, creative map.
Before this update, Desert Ruins was a bit under-detailed, giving it the feeling of an older map. Now with the new additions, it really feels like a new, modern FE2 map and I absolutely love it. Great job 👏

this should NOT be a 6.7, last time I played it I finished without hassle but I put in a lot of effort and I still get outpaced by the lava, this should be 6.8 AT THE VERY LEAST with my personal rating being 6.9
Hell yeah the gameplay is SO MUCH smoother than before, the infamous rng ladder in the tower is also gone now Oh man I’m gonna enjoy a lot more grinding this map than the previous versions, this is a huge upgrade my man kudos to ya edit: tried, so far the map feels like 6.9, around the same pacing as tempestuous blizzard tho the jumps are a bit easier its DEFINITELY NOT 6.7 tho

wow I spent 6 hours total for the previous version, now I cant even make it to the tower im always 1-2 seconds slower!!!!! (the level is amazing the new deco was a much needed addition!)
