I've been following you for a long time and I have never been disappointed with your projects. This one is so simple to follow. You are a good teacher.
Sherrill, I love Love LOVE your tutorials! Do you have any books with patterns/instructions for my of your projects. I do sew some, but have to watch tutorials step-by-step and many, many times😂.
What a great job on your pot holder . Love it. What a great ideal for a Christmas gift. ❤❤❤ It Cheryl . Love watching your videos. Cheryl can you use a cookie cutter for the tree. Love it.
@@TheSewingRoomChannel Thank you! I love it! It will be a great way to use my plastic templates that I get from Missouri Star Quilt Company like the large stocking, which would be great in the center of a pillow. Thanks for sharing all your ideas and talents!
I'd like to know about the ads please, sometimes when I'm sewing I let them go and i got thinking maybe I should do that so you get paid, so my question is...must i listen to ad for you to get credited ? I am enjoying your videos so I'll do what I can for you.
Hi Mary. RUclips pays the individual creators of videos by the number of minutes they stay on watching a video. It does help me if you do watch the ads. Most months I make enough money to pay my RUclips channel's expenses. There is rarely much money left over for me as an individual, but I do this because I enjoy teaching. Thank you so much for watching💗and happy sewing😍
In the product description she has batting listed. At the beginning of the video you can see the batting. She probably forgot to mention it in the video.
Hi Debbie. Yes you will need two 8" squares of cotton batting. At 01:02 in the tutorial there was a subtitle on the left side of the screen. It is also listed in the description section in the list of supplies. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching💗and happy sewing😍

This is a good tutorial. Thank you. I would like to see the underside of the pot holder.
Hi Priyani. On the underside the bobbin thread shows. So use thread that matches your fabric on the underside. Thanks for watching💗 and happy sewing😍

Omg.I really wish I could do it

So this is another appliqué technique without using fusible interfacing?
Hi Aunt. Yes it is a different technique. I use both methods. Thanks for watching💗and happy sewing😍

If it's a pot holder shouldn't it have some sort of batting inside
I was thinking the same thing, then the tree appliqué could be the quilting on it?

Did you use batting or the heat proof fabric?😊
Yes I see it now, thank you for your response
