In this video we look at the Ontario Knife Company Rat 1. This relatively inexpensive knife has been a staple of the EDC community for years. Profit talks about the history of the RAT 1 and how this knife stacks up against some others. We will give some statistics, and of course we will discuss our reasons to CARRY or BURY this knife! Although this knife maker was recently acquired, the website below still has more information and hopefully will return to normal production soon!

Nice and informative video, thanks for making it.
Rat 2 in D2 is one of top 10 edc knives for me, it beats always every new budget edc knife (elementum, qsp canary). It has teflon and bronze washerson each side of the pivot. And i just prefer washers for knife i use, bearings take duat and dirt very easy.

I love this. Honestly what always gets me is that the smoothness of this knife for the price point. Having the two different washers give it the best of both worlds. This is definitely not a knife to say is just put in the pocket due to budget! I love this comment and I agree whole heartedly! Thank you for your time commenting!
