I’m so glad he’s finally talking more about his music in interviews! I really think that he’s in his element whenever it comes to that. I love his acting, of course, but I personally prefer him as a musician. This was so fun to watch :)
@@60sbabydoll777 lmao yeah I just love him so much and I’m so happy to get more interview content related to his music! I’ve waited for days like this 🙈
Anyone else listen to Djo because you were curious to see if such a great actor was also musically talented? Also, did anyone else listen to "Personal Lies" and get completely FLOORED by the insane musicality and complex yet beautiful chords? Anyone else a Djo fan for life and want him to tour?
I’ve been on and off listening to Djo since like 2019 (as I do with most artists I like because I’m neurodivergent and get obsessive over the things I like in sporadic waves) and only just recently found out he was Joe Keery after randomly looking him up on google a couple weeks ago and I was like “omg one of my favourite musicians is also one of my favourite actors?! And I didn’t even know!?!?”
Dude- end of beginnings was my favorite on the album when it came out. Now I’m SO happy that more people know it. I honestly forget he’s a big actor when I listen to his music and just get so lost in the creativity and how good it is. He deserves all the recognition he gets.
Dear interviewer thank you so much for doing your job correctly, your questions were amazing, very appreciated So happy for Joe, he deserves everything happening to him and more It's so cool to hear him speak about all these things on his music
What a lovely interview!! Finally an interviewer who gives space for their guest to talk and doesn’t try to get their own jokes in or be the center of attention. Thank you for asking interesting and insightful questions that was great ❤
The whole Decide album is so good. The recurring rhythmic drums that present in almost every song kept this momentum up and all the songs felt so cohesive.
i’m so happy djo’s music is getting the attention it deserves! i’ve listened to his music since twenty twenty came out and have been obsessed since! a lot of my friends will just be humming end of beginning and i’ll just start singing it with them and they always turn to me and joke “we get it you know all of his music.”
I was lucky enough to see Twin Peaks and Post Animal on tour together in 2016 and it was probably one of the best shows I’ve ever been too! Love everything Djo does! 🫶🏻
such a great interview, i'm super stoked to hear new music from him, both of his albums have meant so much to me. personal lies is SUCH a good song, i love twenty twenty, the way that whole album feels is so dreamy and lethargic (in a good way) and so easy to get lost in. and the entirety of decide had such a profound impact on me (end of beginning and climax are my favourites). he creates such a unique and immersive atmosphere with his sound, can't wait to hear more.
when i first watched Stranger Things (which was years ago), I had a crush on Steve Harrington played by him. then coincidentally, a few months ago, I got exposed to Djo while I was using Spotify. the first two songs i discovered from him were "Chateau (Feel Alright)" and "Roddy". i immediately fell in love with both songs. at that moment, I had no idea that Djo was Joe Keery bc he looked different in his pic as an artist. i just found out about it a few days ago when my bf showed me an instagram reel of Joe being interviewed about his music. my mind was blown and i loved him even more 😅 i've been listening to both of his albums non-stop. no skippable song. i wish i knew his songs years ago. this guy is freakin' talented 🥵

He’s very genuine.
Love it

Had this album on REPEAT when it came out, so glad it's getting recognition!!
Me too!! I had his stuff in my top played on Spotify for the last two years from when I first found out about it!!

His music is so wonderful been a fan since Roddy/Twenty twenty i pray he tours one day
I'm a new fan but damn once Roddy hits that 3:00 mark and the breakdown happens is my new obsession
I’m so glad his music is finally gaining traction I always knew him as Steve but in 2022 I found djo
The whole Decide album is so good. The recurring rhythmic drums that present in almost every song kept this momentum up and all the songs felt so cohesive.
He's fantastic. My favourite song is Flash Mountain.
YOU ARE A MUSICAL GENIUS !! YOUR ALBUM "TWENTY TWENTY" IS TERRIBLY UNDERRATED AND YET ONE OF MY FAVORITE ALBUMS OF ALL TIME.

I’ve been listening to this song for a year and for it to just be called a tiktok smash…
😭
Your relationship with the song isnt changed tho. Glad that more people can find it in their lives. Be it trough tiktok or wherever.
great interviewer, really good questions! joe is so well spoken.
Djo, your music has helped me through a huge change and I appreciate how incredibly talented you are! Please tour Australia one day. 🎉 Keep going.😊
i second this! would love to see him tour here 💙
HE'S A BEAUTIFUL SOUL
I love this man and his music. And that the songs aren't try-hard written to perform good on TikTok makes them even better ❤
Lovely interviewer 👏🏻
The interviewer is very courteous and attentive

Lmao “I had logic and downloaded that ilegally”. I’m going to follow his footsteps 😅
Great interview and interviewer, really listens but gives input in a non invasive way - legendary!
The music is so good but when I found out it was from Steve from my fave series... I feel wow, you are a talented musician man
What a man 🙌❤️

Brilliant song, great interview, looking forward to future music
A good interview. Enjoyed it 😁
Fantastic interview!
i was in chicago when he was in chicago this song slaps so hard lmao
Amazing music
you'll definitely see me at Djo's London show whenever he plays, no doubt.
A fantastic musician.
oh i love him so bad 🥹
He’s the coolest
Such a great record!
What a cutie pie 🥰
Awesome to hear him mention Jeff Lynne. ELO is an amazing band and Jeff is one of the best producers of all time.
Good interview. Greetings from Colombia
Awesome interview
It’d be great ir he collabs with Maya❤
MLB x DJO tour eventually we're manifesting it
After listening to Djo's albums numerous times, I just now realized he also plays Steve Harrington...
Not trying to compare him because he’s unique but he gives me elements of Julian casablancas
does anyone know where his boots are from im getting desperate
Yooo anyone got an ID on those boots ~~ I gotta grab a pair for myself
I'm commenting so I get a notification if someone ever has the answer because they are some great boots.
wooooah djo x elo would be. epic
Y’all don’t jump me but was I the only one who didn’t know Djo was Joe Keery??

Omggg I’ve been listening to djo recently and had no idea he was joe 😭😭😭

This song aint a banger. Its a sleeper. And i love it.
He looks exactly like that actor from Stranger Things…or is he the same person? Lol!
that’s him
No one ever mentions one wayne g omg
This guy just puts two shit folding chairs out and calls it a day
Anyone know what the song was at the beginning of the video?
I wish! could it be his new stuff?
@@andrewdillaha I found it after searching for awhile it's from a song called Not Today by Huan
@@trentonashton832 HERO.
Charlie Heaton an Arsenal fan despite being from Leeds 😡
I discovered his song outside of Tik Tok. And for it to be called a “Tik Tok Smash” or “Tik Tok Song” is an insult to these artists.
I want him to be successful in music just so Millie doesn’t end up being the “most famous” from the show.
He cant sing irl. Autotune made his voice good 😭
This song could have had much better songwroting as rhe sounds if the song is good but the composition is boring and too basic .
