Inspiring Helmet is an item thats worth having on at least one character for scenarios like this. High level Blinkblade can also handle this scenario just by getting to the target immediately, inspiring helm to accelerate movement, then running interference (or just killing) the pigs at the top
@@johnpeterson3386 also double time’d cascading reaction bottom would allow inspiring helmet to grant move 4 instead and then move with your top and it gets an extra move for at 99
@@johnpeterson3386 my first time attempting to route the Speedrun (before I had seen all the levels) I assumed that fist route was fastest because Avalanche scenario 6 can be beaten in like 3 turns with DW/BB. I was playing +1.5 difficulty and I failed war of the spire B with those 2 characters 6 or 7 times before I gave up and finally beat it with trap + bb doing invisibility cheese with traps hard walling off so that melee monsters would ping pong back and forth. It’s an absurd level. And you’re right having %50 of the enemies being elite doesn’t reduce the number of attacks coming out. Good thing all the objectives you’re protecting only have 1 hp and in 2 player you have fewer cards to lose to protect them!

Still have a few minutes left, but looks like you missed the loot on Drill. 3 wood, 2 metal, 1 coin. Plus the 10 bonus xp on all 3.
thx
If you think War of the Spires B is hard, just give it a try with only two characters. It barely scales, so with 2 it's very nearly impossible.

@@johnpeterson3386 also with my current Speedrun route war of the spire A is a 1 turn scenario so about 45~ minutes faster than spire B
