ODST is by far the easiest LASO

For everyone like me who didn't have much luck with the speedrun strat:
You can fight through the rooftops fairly easily. Give Buck a good weapon (I gave him my starting sniper, but it might be better to give him a plasma weapon later on to deal with the brute's shields).
You start with very ineffective weapons against brutes, so I like to just hop down in the first area as quickly as possible, headshot the grunts, exchange the weapon I got from Buck with a plasma pistol, and run back to where I came. This is fairly safe since the enemies don't notice you immediately. From there on you can just start fighting through the mission.
Due to the height differences of the various terraces on the rooftops, it is often possible to trick enemy brutes into trying to shoot your core but hitting the side of a terrace instead if you stand back far enough. Then you can plasma pistol and headshot them easily. There's a lot of turrets (both shade turrets and plasma cannons), brutes and grunts love to jump into these and make themselves easy targets, it's often possible to position yourself so that you can shoot at a turret's gunner while it's stuck trying to shoot your core and hitting a wall instead. Farm those turrets.
Use Buck to draw fire in the sections with snipers when possible, and never advance until all enemies are dead to avoid spawning extra waves of enemies and being overwhelmed.
With these strategies I was able to cautiously but very safely fight my way through the rooftops.
Of course the video's strategy for the final fight is perfect as it is.

Just finished this mission. Pretty unique approach on this LASO imo, it's basically the speedrun strat. Going through the level fast and ending with being patient and hiding for cover.
Next to uplift reserve, this is basically one of the most easy LASO levels in ODST :D
I expected pixel perfect sniping skills, with lots and lots of retries.
Really did not expect the mission to play itself alone, especially after ONI HQ !
I thought this one will be one of the harder ones on LASO :D
Nah, it's pretty easy, even if you try to take it the slow and steady route. Plenty of ammo and plasma pistols to use, and you can abuse close-quarter areas by ducking in and out of cover to stun Brutes and Jackals with the plasma pistol.

Got stuck in one area after the grenade jump for a bit until I realized I was an idiot and looking the wrong way lol I decided not to hide as I needed the par score. Got it easily.
the plan to just run past all the first areas is dumb, at least on PC. The enemies are way more alert than they are on the console version. In over 20 attempts i got past once, waited for the checkpoint, nothing, had to try again. So far this is the only LASO level giving me grief, which ironically are usually the levels where silver suggests just zooming past enemies. Go figure. The bit I died at was hiding behind the crate thing. The brutes didn't run past, they knew I was there even though no enemies alerted them to my presence. I swear enemies are just more alert on the PC version. Which is weird since it's a port. The AI wasn't changed.
Glad I'm not the only one. All of my enemies are in different places walking in different directions so that paths Silver takes get me killed 8/10 times.
Yeah was really having a struggle at the grenade jump part. I got it though after waiting a second or two at 0:42 (black pillar thing) (and killing one or two grunts behind me). After the grenade jump I had to kill one carbine jackyll but then got past.
Coastal Highway is tbh the only hard LASO level. The first area with the Wraith with the 10,000 Ghosts & Banshee’s and the final phantom with all the brutes can be difficult if you don’t manage your weapons.

Can't get past the grenade jump at the beginning, it's 25/75 that I even make it to the jump but then usually fail it
Or the one time I made it landed in a group of enemies and got gunned down immediately
