Totally expected that red jacket to be eye searing but it was actually deeper and darker. Much nicer looking. Appreciate these comparison shots!

Great comparison on my all time favourite horror film...observation at 09:35 timeline is that you can see the crew member on the left side of the screen with the hand puppet they used for that shot of the werewolf grabbing the police commissioner's head...never noticed that before.

It’s quite a good transfer. However, I can’t keep upgrading every arrow limited edition boxset. The blu-ray is more than sufficient.

I know some people here are using terms like huge, massive and brilliant to describe the upgrade. I'd be more restrained and say moderate. Yes there's a difference, but I'd suggest that the source is not providing much opportunity. Watching stills and poring over details is not the same as watching a moving image. The 4K is superior based upon the excellent work of MM. However, id suggest that 99% of people watching the uprezzed BluRay and 4K in this case would be pushed to see a difference in video quality.

Brilliant looking 4k in comparison, what is with blu ray transfers showing bright images with red/pink and sometimes orange skin tones? I never understood why everyone looked pink, I will be picking this up, all we need now is the 4k of 'from dusk till dawn' and a comparison video of that on here if it ever gets the 4k treatment, that film is quite possibly the worst blu ray disc, I know they're in Mexico but everything just looked too damn orange

Hmmmm red/pink…….Have you properly calibrated your television by a professional ? And what model of TV you have, an OLED LED or QLED because it's logical that you don't see the same way sometimes.

@@Mymoonization your video showing pink faces in the hospital on the blu ray here? And the 4k finding better more accurate skin tones,

I love blind buying all these classic movies in 4k.

It’s not much of a difference for me to upgrade you’d never notice the difference.

You can almost always tell when the Blu-ray is sourced from the same 4K master, the difference is really minimal, at least in terms of color grading and wider color gamut. (I want a drastic change in these comparison videos, it's more fun! 😂)
