  • This is a follow up video (part two) to the first video in which I showed my new set of hand forged tools made by well respected British tool makers Lee Stoffer & Nic Westermann
    Lee's Instagram - / stoffercraft
    You can view that first video by clicking the link below
    • My Hand Forged Carving...
    In this follow up video Lee demonstrates how to sharpen and maintain these new set of tools
    Although in this video Lee talks about these tools in particular, the same techniques can also be applied to other makes of carving tools / knives to great effect
    As always I appreciate you watching
    Peace

    • @Zedoutdoors

    How do you make the polishing so shiny? When I tried polishing on leather with some compound you could see some fine scratches on it...

    • @Zedoutdoors
      @Zedoutdoors  3 года назад +1

      Hi Abbas when using sharpening stones / sandpaper it is adviced to work through to the finest grit you can, and then use leather to for gthe final finish ~Peace~

    • @justinsane332
      @justinsane332 3 года назад

      the scratches you see are from lower grits that havent been fully taken out as you progress through the finer ones. It can also be that your steel isnt as good for the mirror finish. Not all steels are equal, and some dont finish as well as others.
