Ill let Dan know! 😂 They definitely made proper design choices on this one. made it stand out amongst the crowd! the trucks definitely are also top notch! yeah, with this type of power, you can't have any flex in it. Thank you! my carve style is a bit of everything, surf, skate, snowboard combined into one. I love street wheels as well, but when you start reinventing the "wheel" I can live with these style of wheels haha. the PSI changing everything is also so crazy, just a new innovation in the market now! This one was a longggggg review haha, hopefully people get some popcorn and sit back and enjoy the content! cheers brother, always appreciate seeing you in the comments!
This is why I love having multiple boards to separate the categories. Since I have a 2 in 1 board that can be mainly street board with belt drive config, Nomad N1 gear drive would be my choice next! I'm totally going to get this board 100%!!
Great riding, shots, and information. I can tell you out a lot in on this one and it shows. They just keep getting better and better. Keep up the good work. Look forward to riding with you again soon 🖤🖤🖤
Let’s hope they put out a 90A esc you can buy separately! In case you want belt drive with a little more power.. possibly street wheels that fit the gear drive as well!
@@DrewEliaI’m debating on getting this board or getting the aux pack for my atlas pro 4x4. I think I would get similar range compared to my atlas pro with the aux pack but I was wondering if you’ve tried comparing both of those boards?
@ecoboostedfuze you’re going to get more range on the aux pack pro, 1700 WH vs 800 or so WH you’re six pack will definitely give you more range. As far as ride quality and acceleration this board is truly a rocket. So if you’re looking to grab an extra board it’s definitely a fun ride with stupid amount of power! Though that pro with the aux pack is a lot of fun to just cruise knowing you have a lot of range! Check out my channel for more content, I did a zombie short with the exway atlas pro and aux pack
Thanks so much! Yeah you have to feel the acceleration power the video still doesn’t do it justice compared to how you feel, though it’s a good visual representation
Just my curiosity; if no flex was what ACEDECK wanted for the board, why not just used the carbon material to save some weight while keeping the same downhill racing deck style ? 🤨 BTW, the sound created from the motors/gear is actually a great selling feature like Harvey Davision's bikes that they have unique rumbling sound like lion roaring🤘
You’re 💯 right on the sound! It’s definitely a “Harley Davidson” style where it is noticeable amongst the crowd. I’m not sure how the carbon fiber would react to a split angle design? Plus they are coming out with the new Ares, which on paper seems to have the same new upgrades like the Nomad
Great video !! I can't wait to ride this baby to work everyday, thank you so much for the content !!! Hey! I commented on your meepo videos this week. I just bought the Propel Endeavor 2 GT! I’ll get it within a month but i am so psyched about it! I hope you can review it also!
SOOOOOO the two versions with gear drive on them cant put street wheels on, the belt drive version can though! Its hard to say which one is a better choice but Im loving this Nomad right now!
Not sure if doing a comparison from Ownboard Bamboo Zeus Pro to Nomad N1 would be against any vendor rule you may have but they seem similar in some areas and different in others. When all videos state that the board is the hest it is hard to finally pull rhe trigger. BTW, i did pull it on Bamboo Zeus Pro based on Scotty's best ever board video. Haven't recve it so not sure i was influenced on best board now or not😢😢
I’ve not been able to work with Ownboard yet, but I’ve tried the bamboo pro before, that’s a great big wide deck and super stable platform, plus the range on the own boards are always insane! You made a good choice, sorry that it hasn’t delivered yet!
Spec wise on paper seem to be the same, but the Nomad deck makes the world of difference when it comes to ride feel due to the split angle. I’m hoping to get to try the Ares X1 2023 edition, to compare them!
Well the new Ares 2023 edition coming out will have the same set up as this I believe, but will be completely carbon fiber! If you’re comparing it to the Older version a lot will be different, power and feel of these boards is WAYYYYY more than the Ares first edition.
I like ace deck but if it advertises 5mph above what your getting is crazy. Rolling friction isn’t that greatly affected by your weight, more wind resistance might change your speed but 5 mph is crazy
That's very nice 👍🏾 great review that's what I'm aiming for. I love speed. From someone who's leaving the sport bike / stunt life. I need something to keep me humble & also the thrill. $1700 Is steep but maybe I'll have to make a sacrifice. I'm convinced. Thanks 👊🏾
The Zealot X is a fantastic board, having tried it out its not like this Nomad though, The Nomad is a heavier, more power, more range, different set up than the X. You wouldn't be upset with either choice, you're just looking at two different types of boards I would say.
Now im torn between buying this and and Tynee stinger. The whapaas on the stinger are unmatched but the stability just worries me and for my main board the N1 seems maybe better. They got the N1 14s3p 90A gear drive for 1100 bucks! And the belt drive for 900 fking dollara dude. The x3 geardrive is awesome but it seems like the n1 is better for whapas and the x3 is better for stability, despite the deck being and infh shorter(which i dont think is a cut in the wheelbase just thw part that goes over the truck bolts was made smaller. So the x3 has a huge standing platform despite the 37 inch deck. I have no idea why all boards dont go this route. Looks cooler, and makes more sense. Having that huge unused area on the boosted styles seems pointless. Which is another thing i like avout the cruiser. The whole deck is usable.
Yeah two different boards completely! All of the WAAH PAAH on the Tynee stinger and the N1 is a stable stupid fast platform. Definitely a great deal on the n1 as well! It depends on what you’re trying to do with your board as your main board.
@@DrewElia I ride urban in Downtown Cincinnati Ohio and surrounding suburbs. I ride in the street at all times when I'm downtown the roads are meh. I like to carve, and that hard lean you get on the DKP looked like so much fun. But I also like to go fast sometimes. I'm worried that I'm going to get on the stinger and be like " I don't need this much whaa paa". I think I'm honestly only looking for a little more whaaa paaa than my wowgo 3e already has, not a crazy amount more, I want a good balance between whappaaasss and stability. I'm wondering if making that switch from RKP to CKP trucks would be enough of a jump for whaa paa factor. Would you say CKP is quite a bit more carvy than RKP? I'm really just wanting to get away from RKP.
In terms of that power you're talking about, is it easy to modulate with the throttle or is it too abrupt? I'm all for high power as long as the throttle and ESC can properly allow me to feather it, but if it's just an ON/OFF sort of situation then it's kind of a miss on my part.
I’ve never worn gear to this point riding my Ares, no offense I just grew up riding skateboards and longboards and snowboarding. Nomad has me second guessing that 🤣 may have to wear a brain bucket 🪣 🤙🏻
Please at the minimum wear a helmet, I grew up doing the same thing surfing skateboarding snowboarding but these new boards are dangerously fast, I get it if your cruising slowly around the neighborhood but you’re going faster than cars on these things and they aren’t ready to see that or have their brain register it.
Hoyt boards are smooth and powerful, no matter what speed you’re at you feel super comfortable and confident on them, Acedeck has INSANE acceleration 0-top speed is quicker, truck system is great on both of them but the ROSA trucks are reversed king pin which I tend to like more but I’ve been messing with bushing set up in the Nomad and it’s going to be my race track board
Wonder how it would handle a bigger 290 + lb rider. I use to dow hill longboard allot 50 - 60+ bombs lol im trying to find a good reliable a d powerful and fast board that could handle my size and need for speed. What brands would you suggested?
This board would be able to handle you, you’re range would be little less, but spend wise this board is powerful enough to launch you. Other boards you could look at is the Hoyt Dadbod if you’re looking for long range and power. It’s priced around the same as you’re lonestar super sport.
In what sense? Power, range, looks, speed, carve ability? it’s way more powerful than the hurricane as far as low end torque. Top end speed the hurricane would beat it because it’s got the ability to change gearing and allow for more top end speed. But as far as raw power this board is definitely one of the most powerful production boards I’ve ridden.
hmm, this is a hard one, Ive tried the Zeus pro and its a great board! I haven't tried the Nomad belt drive, but I know it has the same ESC from the Ares and that was a great board! So I can imagine that it would feel in terms of power the same. Though the split angle deck and new trucks are a great upgrade.
Thanks for the reply! The 2022 Ares i think it has esc 50A the new nomads has esc 60A so im guessing its a little quicker than the 2022 ares belt drive version?
@DrewElia hey thanks👍👊, I think you misread or I wasn't clear enough🤷♂️...I was interested on the SOUND difference between the drives. I looove the sound on the Nomad, but would like to buy the element system for my board and so I would love to hear your opinion on it.
@DrewElia no worries👊👍 thanks, does it also have the jet fighter like whine, it's hard to hear on your X1 video as there is a lot of wind noise...you have great riding areas overthere 👍👍👍
@@DrewElia thanks but what a let down... I wanted to buy with thé 90A ESC, I'll send me a message to see if i Can buy the truck with the 90A models is compatible motor mount for me to install my pulley and belt
Got a question what's the name of the song used at the start? Looking at this skateboard I do have to say the price does seem pretty impressive for what it seems to have
The original Ares this board is WAY MORE POWERFUL than that! But with the new upgrade version of the Ares coming out I assume it’ll have the same power as the Nomad since it seems to have the same components!
What is the point of having a wooden deck completely without flex? Might as well have a carbon deck which has many benefits over wood. Although I like wood with flex.
I’m confused what’s unfair haha? Acedeck Nomad is a fantastic quality of components and build. The power out out and off the line torque is incredible. It has beautiful looks, but top end speed isn’t there above 30-32mph. The Hoyt Tabor is a separate board , they also have fantastic build quality and components, the Hoyt tabor does have incredible range uses 5 in tires, can also use 111 street wheels, and has three different battery options. The power of the tabor is way more top end and smooth acceleration as well. They also have a new feature with launch mode on the Tabor as well give it full power off the line! Plus the ROSA truck system on the hoyt is second to none. I hope thy helps?
@@DrewElia was thinking it could be considered unfair price point wise, 1800 for top SKU nomad and 2800 for Tabor base model (if I'm remembering correctly)
I mean, in what sense? Just learning how to ride a skateboard? The power and speed? Foot fatigue? It’s all of these that it’s with a lot of power and range to boot
Well the endurance deck is a micro drop down, this being a split angle and a w concave I find it comfortable, the power of both of them is great, though the Nomad s+ mode is just INSANE. Both are great boards though, unless you need 50 miles of range that’s a big benefit of the endurance
Exway atlas pro still walks all over that board. 4wd compatibility, 30min fast charge, auxiliary battery pack, phone app, etc Don’t think ace deck offers any of that
I have the atlas pro 2wd gear drive with the AUX packs and the 1000w charger, your right that board is literally unmatched for everything you mentioned. But the Nomad is one of the fastest boards that dumps out huge amounts of torque and power all the way to the top end
I mean, there is bamboo in there, but its really a composite deck of maple, fiberglass and bamboo, I don't believe you can achieve the split angle design of the deck with a carbon board. plus it looks really good.
Acedeck is really putting out some good boards out there. Almost makes DIY pointless these days unless you need a raceboard
Yes their attention to detail is of the highest quality, and that they put out custom CNC parts along with high powered boards it’s really amazing.

It wasn’t due to that, it was advertised to hit 37mph on their larger wheels.

I wouldn’t put this in the UAV class, UAV is a longer wider deck, trucks and power are different for UAV

Nice review Drew! Can't wait for the range test!
Thank you so much! Stay tuned for more videos
Can you put cloud wheels on this
In the belt drive series Nomad you possibly could
i want know fit in Nomad N1 Omni 140MM All Terrain Airless Rubber Sleeves.
6-7-8inch tires should fit with this set up,
32mph is fast enough for me😬
How would you compare the Street Element gear drive sound vs the one on this AT one? Is it anywhere similar?
The really difference is the height of the board. The acceleration though because of the size of the wheel is crazy
@DrewElia hey thanks👍👊, I think you misread or I wasn't clear enough🤷♂️...I was interested on the SOUND difference between the drives. I looove the sound on the Nomad, but would like to buy the element system for my board and so I would love to hear your opinion on it.
@aleszverca oh sorry haha, the sound is nice but not as loud as the AT gear drive
@DrewElia no worries👊👍 thanks, does it also have the jet fighter like whine, it's hard to hear on your X1 video as there is a lot of wind noise...you have great riding areas overthere 👍👍👍
there is a jet fighter but no where near as loud as the Nomad N1 its quite
Vacuum tires is the same as tubeless, right?
yes
@@DrewElia Nice! Do they come from the factory better balanced than usual pneumatic tires? One of my biggest gripes with pneumatic tires.
great vid
Thanks so much! I really appreciate you checking out the video!
Finally
I knew you were coming in the comments hahaha enjoy brother!!!!!
Street wheels compatibility?
The belt drive version will be compatible, the two gear drive options are not! Hope that helps!
@@DrewElia thanks but what a let down... I wanted to buy with thé 90A ESC, I'll send me a message to see if i Can buy the truck with the 90A models is compatible motor mount for me to install my pulley and belt
Got a question what's the name of the song used at the start? Looking at this skateboard I do have to say the price does seem pretty impressive for what it seems to have
I have to look it up but I got it off epidemic sound
How does it compare to the Ares?
The original Ares this board is WAY MORE POWERFUL than that! But with the new upgrade version of the Ares coming out I assume it’ll have the same power as the Nomad since it seems to have the same components!
@@DrewElia dope! How about as far as comfort and stability? About the same?
What is the point of having a wooden deck completely without flex? Might as well have a carbon deck which has many benefits over wood. Although I like wood with flex.
I believe it was an aesthetic choice along with the split angle design of the deck. I don think you want to rigid of a deck with that movement.
What full face helmet is that?
The predator helmet!
What about the bushings? What duro are they?
Bushings are 100a orange and 96a Black!
@@DrewElia so red bushings shouldn't go to the back?🤔
@@lorenzotugnolo811 it’s a mix and match feel, they give you both sets, this set up felt the most stable for me right now with the power output
@@DrewElia right! Everyone got their own preference...
Totally true, if you haven’t yet man, subscribe tot he channel and thumbs up the video if you dig the content!
This is unfair, but in terms of build/quality of life what specific advantages does the Hoyt Tabor have over the Nomad N1? Range?
Is it hard to get used to the ride
I mean, in what sense? Just learning how to ride a skateboard? The power and speed? Foot fatigue? It’s all of these that it’s with a lot of power and range to boot
went on my first ride yesterday of 10 months of healing from a broken leg
Glad your healed up! Hope you’re doing better! Make sure to subscribe and thumbs up the video if you dig the content!
How does this compare to the Endurance?
Well the endurance deck is a micro drop down, this being a split angle and a w concave I find it comfortable, the power of both of them is great, though the Nomad s+ mode is just INSANE. Both are great boards though, unless you need 50 miles of range that’s a big benefit of the endurance
I like jets mmmmm😂
Exway atlas pro still walks all over that board. 4wd compatibility, 30min fast charge, auxiliary battery pack, phone app, etc
Don’t think ace deck offers any of that
I have the atlas pro 2wd gear drive with the AUX packs and the 1000w charger, your right that board is literally unmatched for everything you mentioned. But the Nomad is one of the fastest boards that dumps out huge amounts of torque and power all the way to the top end
Idl, I prefer the good old 50cc boards:/
I remember those from back in the day
🤘🛹👍
Thanks brother!!
What's the point of having a bamboo board that's not flexible?🤷♂️
I mean, there is bamboo in there, but its really a composite deck of maple, fiberglass and bamboo, I don't believe you can achieve the split angle design of the deck with a carbon board. plus it looks really good.
