  • This video describes how to make a double-lock standing seam with a seaming anvil and a hammer. It is arguably the most time-proven type of roof panel seam. All the necessary tools and equipment are identified. It is narrated by Copper Development Association's Architectural Applications Specialist, Larry Peters.

    Alot of work.
You can pre bend the lock on both sides of the panel to create a double lock.
    Most common panel .
And they have tools to bend theses locks.
Go back to the using the pen

This guy is a hack. Seam should be interlocking. Big end should have the ends cut on a 45 and male end folded over on the corners otherwise wind or even expansion will rip it off.

I believe this is what pat and rose young are referring to: ruclips.net/video/nRCGLkrh0cg/видео.html
It shows how to terminate the double lock at the eave of the roof.
