Hi Rod it's My favorite low budget hotel in Cebu stay there a few times a year but even if I'm not staying there I enjoy eating at there restaurant love there spicy cheesy pork and spicy Asian shrimp great staff
Good video Rod. It looks good. The tub looked interesting, the tubs I have found are very short for westerners! For me there is no point in a tub I can't get my knees under water. Also, I can't hot soak at the temperatures of water that come out of the tap most places. It's just something you have to get used to. I think it's generally safe out on the street but I was walking down a dark hallway at the Express Inn to the outside elevator entrance once and it was really dark. I shined my 850 lumen flashlight down the hall and someone took off running. It was open to the outside so it might have just been a homeless person, but you never know.
Thanks Robert. You are right about the small tubs. The one at our condo is more of a kids tub, short and narrow at the bottom, making showers a bit tricky also. I usually carry a bright torch with me also and it is a good idea to check out your surroundings. I have a few scars on my legs from falling in holes while waling dark sidewalks.

I stayed at the other one at the Capital site for Sinulog two years ago and it looks similar, although I believe their restaurant was smaller. We enjoyed our stay there, it was maybe fifteen minutes walk to Osmena Circle and Robinson’s. They kindly gave me a Sinulog tee shirt to wear at the festival, it had Cebu R hotel on the back, so they did get some advertising haha.

Rod, when I came here to stay, 2 1/2 years ago, I stayed at the other one in the Capitol area... It is near the NBI office, within walking distance of the circle... It was not quite as elaborate as the one there in Mabolo... Although it was clean, rooms about the same size, good wifi, and breakfast included.. The eating area was in the lobby, with only 5 or 6 tables.. There were several eating establishments close by.. I think I paid around 1900p per night at that time.. There was no gym or massage... Thanks for the video...
Good video again, Rod. Don't worry about giving current prices. If a moron is looking at your video and says two weeks later "Hey, Rod said it was only $44.. they are charging $54!", I wouldn't worry about it. That's the same guy who'd also watch a video from the 80's and complain he can't buy Apple stock for $100 now. Please include the price as you have done; reasonable, normal adults can discern the difference in cost-of-living and time of year increases.
Two things to say about Filipinos remembering you. One is that forgeiners are more memorable due to distinctive traits. The second is that they put higher value on their interactions with people and I think that also contributes to it.

Funny story. I just booked this hotel, for 4 nights not more than 30 min. ago based on my previous stay there and this video review. I am currently on Mactan and wanted to be in Cebu, and just as I am thinking about where oh where should I stay your channel notification pops up on my phone, and whoomph there it is........ P.S. I am hoping the same small bakery about two blocks south of there on that little side street is still open. BEST baked bread on the planet. Oh yeah, by the way nice video.
