- As part of the Castle of Magical Dreams magical transformation, Hong Kong Disneyland invited guests, cast members, community partners and Disney friends, including Mickey Mouse, to share their own dreams and wishes on “magical dream cards.” These cards were collected in a treasure chest, and lifted to the top of the tallest tower in the castle - ensuring that the heart of the resort will always be filled with hopes and dreams.

Amazing that its finally done! I saw it last year in person. Interesting that this is exactly the same height as Disneyland Paris' castle and it reminds me of it a lot - I think this may now be my second favourite after Paris' castle!
Now the only castle they need to refurbish is Toykyo Disneylands castle

Agreed, every Disney parks should have their own unique castle and not duplicate from other parks. Cinderella castle in Orlando being the original project of Walt Disney himself should stay there while Tokyo castle should be refurbished. Although I was hoping a unique castle from each Disney princesses.

I wanted the castle to be like the current Disney logo.
But Orlando and Tokyo already have castles like that. It would have also required them to demolish the pre-existing replica of the California castle instead of build upon it like they have.

Mixed feelings. Not a fan of the name. Castle looks good, but looks a little weird since you can clearly see the former castle. It’s like two castles next to each other and not one single castle.

Well, its Hong Kong. The amount of foreign population from the West and Southeast Asia alone makes how diverse Hong Kong is. Plus, there's no specific description of how an "Asian" looks like. You completely forgot that Asia is not all about China and Japan.

no it was redone in 2016 but tiles and the peaks of the turrets are falling ...
@@clementleroy34 The roof got damaged because of the overlay lights that stayed so long. The lights were not installed during the 2019 Christmas season, it was expected to be back this year but due to lockdown again in France. They were closed once again until February 2021.
