    Great pace and terrain reading! I guess if you didn't know how to ride sand before you entered this race you'd have a better idea once you were done. I could use that much sand training in one day. :)

      It really depends on the terrain for me. For high speed desert racing it’s a must. When I’m doing motocross or tight single track I turn it all the way down and get tempted to pull it off.

      6/9 in class and 85/176 overall. I was doing better on the first loop and then faded a little on the second loop.

      Your worried about some sand and the 2 chipmunks living in it
      , you probably drive an electric car which causes way worse long term damage to the earth mining the minerals

      Recovers much faster than when they say it's closed due to some never heard of organism, only to find 10 years after they closed it a warehouse, a shopping center and new neighborhood are put on it.
      Every single area that has been used for this sport for the last 70+ years looks just like it did back then. You cannot say that for almost any other land use.

      @@motofunk1 ya they are doing the same in southern utah, tried to close off land saying " people going off the trails" now they are building thousands of homes in the same spot.
