@@ryanroubert2483 the new album is a tragedy. Terrible vocals, drum machine, bass following the guitar. After buying every album he ever made now I listen to the new releases and mourn the old Malmsteen.
Just thinking exactly the same. Think it's pretty obvious now that Marching Out and the other earlier albums were great because of the other musicians. Sure Yngwie is an amazing guitarist.. But the plain fact is he can't write songs.
Mais engraçado é ter acabado de assistir a sua entrevista no ibagencast e aparecer esse vídeo com o seu comentário. Felipe um.grande abraço...vc é um monstro
It sounds close to the version on "Marching Out", that I was fortunate enough to see live with YJM, w/JSS in 1985 in Boston, MA., with the amazing Billy Sheehan opening up with his band, Talas! Always incredible vocals Jeff!
“Jeff Scott Soto, you truly are the rock star of the century! Your incredible talent and passion for music have not only kept rock’n’roll alive but have also built countless friendships and bridges across the world. Thank you for your dedication and for inspiring us all. A huge thank you to everyone involved in making this video - your efforts are deeply appreciated!”
while his voice totally changed he definitely learned how to cope with that change better than anyone. In fact I'd say he's even better now than what he was with Yngwie
Yes. Not taking away anything from yngwies current lineup or what he’s doing …. But would love to see that lineup one more time. Such magic, inspiration and spontaneity.
It's definitely dropped a bit and has more girth to it, but he still sounds mint. He's not a natural tenor anyhow; him and Dino are perfect for each other.
Two of the best vocalists in the world together singing a fantastic song. What's not to love? Better than the original. Just wish the record co would stop mis-syncing Dino's vocals. They do it on everything he does for them but we know why. Never mind...we listen more than we watch. Epic.
you are already known in Indonesia, Indonesian citizens are very dense to the number of people in the world so we will start highlighting you both👍 Dino Jelusick, your vocals are very chill and organized, I'm your fan, greetings from Indonesia😁👍👍👍
I discovered jeff scott soto with this song, in the 2000's. I reconnected with him after having listening it two years ago. Now I buy all of his solo albums. Fun that he covered his own masterpiece.
YES YES YES YES YES!!!! Jeff FINALLY revisiting his early metal beginnings with the mighty MALMSTEEN!!!! This has to be one of my all time favorite early Malmsteen songs. Can't wait to hear this classic banger reborn in all its modern metal GLORY!!!!!
This was, by far, my favorite song on the Rising Force album. As a songwriter/guitar player myself, I felt like this one had such strong writing and melody that Ynwie's playing took a back seat and the song itself took the spotlight for a change. It was interesting in this mix that they had the harmony vox jump to the front and what was the lead chorus vox on the original became a harmony vocal. Great song and great performances.
Oh ok, I saw with YM way back when and then the next time I saw YM Turner was singing. JSS has an Amazing voice. Dino is several singers rolled into one.
@@81slider Yeah, I say him on the Rising Force album tour and they were pretty great. As a guitar player myself, I'm blown away by Yngwie, but grow quickly tired of his soloing. I think someone like Nuno Bettencourt, who has amazing talent and chops, is able to showcase his skills in a way that makes you feel like you're still listening to a song and not just a solo competition. Yngwie is a legend, but would be a lot bigger star if he focused as much on songwriting as he did on showing off. Just my two cents.
Yngwie Malmsteen is THE GOD, of the neoclassical style and all his musicians ever are from the very best selection, Masters of their instruments even Today. I brought up on this music and actually this was the record that made me to start playing guitar, buying my first ever instrument. A completely out of this world performance from Malmsteen's greatest singer maybe and from a young one I never heard before, but will hear from soon, I am sure about. Amazing!
surprising he could still sing whit that kind of feel and agressiveness like 1985 cause all stuff he sings now his very clean and soft not realy hitting high notes im happy to hear that sounds great
This version is fantastic, partly because Howie Simon is a very experienced virtuoso guitarplayer and is also awesome at imitating Yngwie's playing and sound, not to mention the great vocals by Jeff and Dino and the updated sound/production of this classic, powerful song.
I think Dino is the ultimate rockstar for now..
He for sure is the best rock singer in the world now
if only Yngwie could write songs like that again ...
Would've been cool if he would've gotten into another band again with someone who can really write. His ego would never allow it though.
Its amazing how boring and repetitive his songs are right now😥

You don't remember I'll never forget...
Jeff still has the pipes 40 years later! Amazing!
It is one of the best of Yngwie and Soto. Together are better.
Two of the greatest vocalists in the world of Rock. They are so we’ll matched.
Marching Out is an absolute classic album!
Yngwie Malmsteen 🤘😎👌
no better yet Axel Rudi pell
Killer! Howie Simon NAILED it!
This is amazing! 👏👏👏👏
Como canta esse rapaz. A sua música com ele ficou excelente

Obrigado my friend!!
A comment can be very important, but sometimes the person of the commenter is even more important.

I just can't understand how I missed Soto all these years??? I've been a metal head for at least 45 years and never knew!!!! Holy cow!!!
The moment he says 'dino!' and dino starts to sing... 🤤🔥

JSS is a true professional. He's remained relavent in the industry and has retained his vocal quality after all the years.
Jeff is constantly working on more than one band at a time.
Mainly because he didn’t let journey use his voice up and spit him out…. Soto is a class act…
while his voice totally changed he definitely learned how to cope with that change better than anyone.
In fact I'd say he's even better now than what he was with Yngwie
Isn't JSS with The Art of Anarchy now?
Howie Simon 🔥🔥🔥
Dino and jeff 🔥🔥🔥
More Epic than original, you and yngwie were incredible
Omg THIS
Bigest duet!
I can’t wait to see Dino in the states.. He is hands down the best singer in the business right now 🤘🏻😝
The best!!!
I saw J.S.S. with Yngwie back in 1986 when he first sang this......AWESOME then and AWESOME now! His voice has aged like a fine wine!!!
Absolutely AGREE!!!!!
Yes. Not taking away anything from yngwies current lineup or what he’s doing …. But would love to see that lineup one more time. Such magic, inspiration and spontaneity.
Esta version es mi favorita. El dúo Jeff Soto + Dino Jelusick. Increíble!!!!💜🤘🏻⚡
Love Dino's voice best ever
On this terrible times, we need return to the past to save our minds. Thanks Mr. Scott Soto ImI
That literally gave me goosebumps!!!!! Absolutely amazing holyshit 2023!!!!!
Jeff and Dino, I loved it. Do caralhooooooooo !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They compliment each other. Both amazing voices and performers 💞
TWO GENERATIONS TOGETHER, TWO MONSTERS! NO WORDS FOR THIS! JUST INCREDIBLE!
What an amazing combination of voices!
YJM has written some really good tunes.
JSS singing in the SAME TONE more than 30 years ago. Simply hands up for him 🙌
And with a more powerful voice too...
Amazing control and powerfull
Almost 40 years ago now. Wow.
Howie is the most criminally underrated guitarist in music! Just incredible work!
True story.
You’re completely right.
Howie is a great guitarist, and he sings very well too.
@@PatCicinelli Absolutely. He proves it on the Stryper’s concert.
Howie Simon really killed it on this song. Picking is super smooth , great player!
Killer killer, Dino is one of the great voices from the new generation of hard rockers and Soto a legend from the masters. Flawless duet
Two matching voices and a fantastic guitarslinger, wanna have more? 🪨🎯🪨
Top notch all around. It's so cool to hear Jeff sing a track he did 36 years ago, and sing it even better. What a voice..both Dino and Jeff.
Akulah arjunaaaaa……
Dino is the present and the future! Such a beast!
Just killer!
Awesome! Jeff is singing like a bell here!
IMHO Dino Jelusick is ready to explode and become a first category rock star, to rise and shine!!!
\m/
With Dino's new gig in Whitesnake, he'll get incredible exposure to rise & shine like the star that he is!
@@Wishpool I agree!
Howie Simon is a badass. Picking and vibrato ON POINT. That is all.
Dino Jelusick is simply perfect in every way
Jeff voice seems like never change over the years . And this song just wow
It's definitely dropped a bit and has more girth to it, but he still sounds mint. He's not a natural tenor anyhow; him and Dino are perfect for each other.
Dino Jelusick is a god.
...Also, I'm already fed up with him. He's absolutely everywhere.

I was fallen in love with this song since the day I heard from Rising Force album ❤❤❤
wow, Dino Jelusick's voice is awesome
Finally. I knew someday Soto back 80's. waiting over 30 years. Thanks great music. HUGE
This blows me away!! The two of you kick butt

Fantastic duet Jeff and Dino🎶Dino have him place, all’s cover are Wonderful💥🔥
The two-part harmony between these two is perfect...it would've been nice if we had some of that in those original albums.
