Didn't help, they didn't offer a different email or by phone. They just tell you to "chat" now, or to call Comcast, both of which where nobody is there to help you.

Does this also work for the Comcast Xfinity Modem? I have been locked out of the Comcast Modem for 5 minutes. I tried to do the default Username and Password. Username: Admin and password: password. But it did not work. Plus the default IP (Internet Protocol) address.
It sounds like you may need to reset it then. This video only refers to resetting your Email Password.
If it's your Modem you need to reset then I'd take a look at this article and follow its instructions as best as you can.

I need to change my password for Xfinity account on a LG television, the problem is the system doesn't allow me to use numbers or symbols, only lower and capital case letters. How do I find numbers and symbols?
You can normally change the keyboard layout. Look for a "123" option to swap to a number pad.
Great video on how to reset your password, but what happens when you close your account w/ Comcast. I closed my account and my new provider said I can still use my Comcast acct. I tried to sign in and I get Need Help resetting your password? chat now or give a call 800-xfinity. Is there any way that I can avoid that process and get to my account? I send test emails to my old acct. and they
don't bounce back so that tells me my account is still OPEN. Is it? or What? Please help
In this case, you will need to contact them to have them give you back access to the account.

HelpCloud thanks for the quick response. Unfortunately the info listed by Comcast isn’t helpful. Their own instructions don’t work. When I try to sign into “My Account” it tells me “this isn’t working right now. Try again later”. It’s said this for 3 weeks now. I just gave up on it.

I have did all of this, but my password is not saved once I turn my iPad off…I have to set it on my iPad mini….once the iPad is turn off, the password is lost on it too 😡
