Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!! Hacker had made two rules forwarding mail to a fake account and they both started with a period! Deleted both rules, changed password, and email is now working fine. Thank you again!

Very helpful, forwarded link to your video to a friend whose wife's Comcast was hacked. Several (maybe all) in her address book got email with same theme as the one you showed. Don't know if they'll be able to fix it but, assuming they can log into her account they'll find your video easy to follow to fix the issue. I found you as a result of search on how to undo Comcast hack. I subscribed in the event you have other videos of use. Thanks.

This is why it's so important to use two factor authentication. Their fake email would need to be verified by you even if your password is stolen to take over your account. So ignore it by clicking ask later.
Joe...Exactly correct. I use two-factor authentication on any program, website or app that will allow me to do so. I prefer to use an Authenticator App rather than text to the phone since those can be stolen, also. ~John
Thanks for your comment. Unfortunatley, I can't turn the music off. But, using the music on this video was an experiment. If you watch other videos of mine, you'll see that I almost never use music except for maybe brief fill music or music at the end. ~John
