As melody who's ballad trash, the B-side sounds really good. kudos for Minhyuk and Hyunsik who produce it. But outsider is special because it's been 5 years btob has dance performance on their MV

@@snowfrost1218 Minhyuk & Peniel wrote the lyrics but they did not contribute to the music composition. This is what the op meant by not being written by a member.
I guess those composers aldy made that song and after watch BTOB in kingdom especially the Blue Moon's stage they were like "ok this is for BTOB" . Haha
Thank you so much for your reaction! I really enjoyed it! As you said they are referencing some movies like Sin City, The Wolf of Wall Street, Warm Bodies, Casino Royale and The Great Gatsby. And of course for a upbeat song from BTOB, they always have fun in the MV. The song is about "the story of our life and how we get tired of repetitive daily life spinning like a wheel. The usage of words like ‘bearing’ and ‘enduring’ establishes empathy from many people. In a world like this, sometimes we just want to be an ‘Outsider’. The term ‘Outsider’ in the song is used to describe the desire to escape from the repetitive pattern of life and set yourself free to be stronger and realize your self-worth."

All the movie references have one theme in mind: outsider.
Never watched Sin City, but the zombi with a heartbeat, Gasby with his endless parties, and agent 007 are all "outsiders" or different from their surounding.

I love this song and MV so much. I may actually be in love with Eunkwang's voice, and I've been happily married for 28 years, LOL. They're all marvelous. I also really love that Eunkwang was dressed as R from Warm Bodies. I love that movie and book.
Guess I finally found a melody with the same age as mine hahaha... and with 24 years of experience in marriage, I don't even know whom I am in love with bcs I keep changing lane every day! 😆
@@widya108 Rotating biases, I totally understand. Honestly, I just love all their talent and fun personalities. All these idols are young enough to be my kids except like the oldest members of Super Junior and the 1st-gen idols. (That's hard to admit. Where did the years go?)
@@TrishMilburn hahaha... these kids are son-in-law materials for me... my eldest has a perfect age gap with sungjae 😁 knew nothing about idols until 3 years ago, but learn about them coz btob introduced them to me one way or another. However, btob is the only one for me. My standard is too high now after I know them 😅

they do have few songs that have a similar vibe to this, but it is their b-side songs, and most songs that have similar vibe to this were produced by minhyuk.
p/s: the album is great, you won't regret listening to it. I am still contemplating which song is my fav, that's how good each song is ;)
