      It is an impressive wheel!

    It is certainly a very good steering wheel. But I find it hard to understand why the wheel is being introduced now. In my opinion, the wheel should have been released before the Ascher Wheel and what can this wheel do that justifies a price difference of 900€? I might have bought it, but I bought the Ascher steering wheel when it came out. The timing for Greywolf is not the best in my opinion but I hope they continue :)

      These are different wheels, different manufacturers. I’m also not under any contract with anyone to be required to say something about these wheels (good or bad). I just talk about them when I have them in my hands.
      The argument on the price is an invalid one, IMHO. It is a very expensive wheel by any standard. And so is the Ascher. And so is any GSI. And so was my SF1000 when I got it. Value is purely subjective.
      The price tag on this wheel is for premium service - including all customisations.
      I am just relaying the information and my enthusiasm for all new Sim Racing gear. I will also be supporting the Greywolf and I do Ascher. I also want to add more wheels to my Partner list, like Simagic etc.

    im yet to see what makes this wheel so expensive for sim racing

    • @LovelySimRacing
      @LovelySimRacing  3 месяца назад

      Well, let's see... Limited quantity, design and hand made in Italy, bespoke and customised build included in the price, extremely well built and top of the line material & components. There are some areas where they need to mature and refine, but to be honest, this is a very customised solution and this wheel in particular may never go into mass production.
      At the end of the day, this is a very expensive wheel - but no so much more expensive than a top of the line GSI Hyper P1. Don't forget, in EU the Tax is included in the price by law. So, €2500 is €2500 (+ shipping).
      I'm not making the case between GSI and Greywolf, just stating facts regarding the price. I think both manufacturers are great, just different. And diversity has (and always will) drive the market.

    I am very surprised because I just received my Ascher Ultimate today 06/15, and the box is not the same, inside it is missing all the stickers and the USB power cable.
    the box is a simple box without foam protection.
    I paid €1527 for this steering wheel.
    I don't understand why, even though I bought this steering wheel thanks to your video.
    what should I do ?

    • @LovelySimRacing
      @LovelySimRacing  3 месяца назад

      The Ascher does not have foam inserts, but definitely comes with cables. But I’m confused now, this video is for the Greywolf…

    Way too expensive, I’m sure it’s a great wheel. I shall be upgrading my X29 for an even more premium GSI or maybe an Ascher. Tried and tested, good luck to this company anyway.
    Edit: The GSI Hyper SL(Screenless) and more crucially the Hyper P1 is very much in the Red Bull (🤢) wheel look, quite a bit cheaper and as stated tried and trusted. The led implementation is incredible on this wheel however.

      I completely understand your sentiment. GSI is a proven brand, and well worth the money. But as far as the “way too expensive”, I’m afraid I don’t see how that applies. A Hyper P1 with 6 clutches + QR extension + customisation + Tax comes out to €2400 (give or take).
      The Greywolf is essentially a premium service experience. Essentially, every unit can be customised to your liking, and it’s included in the price. You can completely customise the wheel - Grips, Body anodisation, shifter anodisation, switches, rotaries…
      The only thing that is extra, AFAIK, is the hydro dipping.

      280mm is too small. 320mm version?

    • @LovelySimRacing
      @LovelySimRacing  3 месяца назад +1

      @@maxwinemiller3606 The truth is that the 300mm Ascher feels better for GT3. I did not find the 280mm uncomfortable though. Not so much as the Fanatec v2.5 which is 270mm... I guess the ergonomics and design play a big part in this.
