I’ve been wanting to try Leca but it seemed complicated- you just made it make sense and look easy. Thank you!

Thank you for this content! 💚
Are there three different types because you can mix it to your own needs? Nobody seems to use another ratio. Does the product say to use equal parts? Are there cases, you would use another ratio?

Yes it’s so you can mix it as it works with your water.
MinimalistCali (I think) might use less nutrients than I do last I saw. Maybe that’s changed.
I use equal parts because that’s what I started with and my PH levels have always been where they needed to be. And my plants are happy campers 😂
But you may need to adjust based on the hardness (or softness) of your water

What's the tds of your tap water? Just curious because the FloraMicro that you use is the RO, distilled or rainwater formula which includes calcium instead of the hard water formula that doesn't.

I’m not certain. But in testing the PH it’s where it needs to be... but I do know our tap is not hard at all. We’ve never needed a water softener. Maybe that’s why my my readings are what they are?

I use all the same nutrients. Maybe I should try using more nutrients. I’ve only been using 1.5 ml of each😅

If you test your PH and it’s where it needs to be after you mix, then I think I would leave it! Unless your plants are on the struggle bus... then maybe give it a shot! :)

Thanks Nicole. I tried using leca and it didn’t work out for me, but I was testing the PH before I put in the nutrients, my mistake. I’m going to be trying it again, I have a huge bag of leca. Do you know why you have to use the one you used first? Just curious, you don’t learn if you don’t ask. Thanks again💚🙃

Hi Judy! It’s written on the bottle to use that one first so that is why I always have :)
