I was honestly hoping it would’ve been in a walking functional shoe. And then I saw the epoxy resin and knew it was not going to be worn. Still awesome and really cool.
It appears it didn’t work out how he wanted it to but he left it in because he cut up the mold into pieces to use as a filler for the new mold. If he cut out that part of the video, you wouldn’t know where all the filler from the next mold came from.
Am I the only one that found that latex rubber pull out of the bucket more satisfying than I thought it would be? Or maybe I'm just weird. Lol And yes, this is a clipped, FF version of an older vid. I'm sure he'll be back after the holidays.
Perhaps you know what happened with the first stiletto that got filled with glue.....From the title I thought the purpose was to wear the shoes with the lights which is why I was confused the whole time... The final product turned out really well.
What Nick is using it tin based silicone, and yes it is fun to pull out of the mixing container. The owner of my haunted house works in TV and film and we use Platinum based silicone to make our prosthetics. It feels completely different than tin does...it feels even weirder when we add the deading agent to it. Regardless, it is very fun to pull the remaining set silicone from its mixing bucket.
Next time, slice the mold open using the band saw, and as you do, cut right through the shoe as well. This way, you can remove the shoe from the mold, and the mold can be reconstructed into a complete form. This approach avoids destroying one side of the mold and creates a form that can be viewed from all sides.
I LOVE YOUR TALENT AND IMAGINATION! What a cool project! I miss you waffling on, but I know you have changed your style, at least on occasion, for a good reason. Keep on keeping on! Respect from Oregon City, Oregon, USA.
Wow that is beautiful nick we love you talking to us . Is nice to hear you telling what you doing and ect and laughter that you bring in with your recording s
@@paulsheffield888 The original video was from a couple years go and he does a minor Mission Impossible mission to sneak in and get her shoes. Peeking thru the door, scoping out the room, tiptoing in. You can almost hear the sneaky cartoon sound effects. It's actually pretty funny.
WOW Nick, absolutely stunning so Pretty your customer will be over the moon with them but my goodness you used such a lot of the pink liquid mould to make your cast all the best & Happy new year to you & your family 🎉🎈Lin
Hadnt seen this before. But that high heel wuth Christmas lights would make an eye catcher in the window of a shoe shop. I first thought it was a new video and your approach kinda weird with the handling of the silicone - until I read here in the comments that it is an old one. Happy New Year everyone. And I hope that Nick will come back with more crafting ideas as well as those funny waffling videos...
I believe he used those for the mold. Though, I have only seen 2 of his videos. I keep seeing people grumbling because he isn't chatting while he works - maybe he was getting busted by the YT goons for not using their preferred nonsensical wordage. Idk. Everything is so idiotic. People should be allowed to say what they want. 🇺🇸
Very unique project. I really like this one 👠 turned out amazing!!! Just curious as to what happened to the two shoe 👠 👠 that you did prior to just the one shoe 👠?? 🤔

Am I the only one who doesn't understand the first half of this video with the black shoes?
He was making a mold
@notsorry3631 but the mold he used he made with the gold shoe. So i also do not understand the first part with the black shoes... 🤷♀️
@tinaennis3607 Maybe the gold shoe mold was a larger shoe used to encase the lights around the size shoe that the client needed 🤨🤷🏼♀️
Nope lol me too no idea

A perk of working in a school... peeling dried school glue off the glue pots. Very calming x

Cinderella’s slippers. Lovely finished artwork. Always delighted to see a new video by you Nick.
My two cats sat here and watched it from beginning to end.

Nice one. I hope you're all having a great break and that you will be back with vigour and waffle.
That was a whole lotta work! WOWZA!
Yeah looks like he did several tries.
The leg lamp in a Christmas movie was awesome. A leg with a fishnet stocking, as a kid I thought it was so cool!
