Lovely birds. I used to keep these 30 odd years ago. I know them all as "Stone Canary". It's good that you provided the comparison and name to them. So Stone Canary is actually yellow eye finch. I guess it's a direct translation of 石燕.

Rebecca Ng ~ Yes ! see the tail end with white spot is Yellow eye and w/o white spot is Green singer... :)
see the tail, white colour is more expensive and size is bigger
