@@g35gazayouth92 plenty of people breed them, but now it's no longer $40 for a bird .... 5 yrs back it was around $40-50,but now due to influenzas the imports of these birds has stopped ... african song birds such as grey singers, yellow front, green singers, black throated canary singers, lemon breasted canary singers are no longer being imported, so the price has sky rocket to $150-200 each, on the green, grey singers ... the black throated canary singers and lemon breasted canary singers goes around $500-1k depend on seller..

same in my opinion, they both are very boisterous finches, but pleasant at the same time...i breed both and the lemon breasted canary and the black throated canary well..they're all good songsters .
The bird is about 1 year. It let it eats the finch food, just regular one that sale in pet store. I let the bird eat song food but the bird don't like it. If it is a hot day, feed the bird vegetable like salad, broccoli . The bird is singing a lot because it born like that.
A great singer indeed due to hot thermo breeze if you give some micro worms or fruit flies; their vocal would be much better. One a week give some condition seeds. Well done.
