Whether the expression to calculate the effective permittivity, permeability, refractive index and wave impedance will be different for TE and TM waves excited for Metamaterial SRR?
@@bidhandas6418 I tried with the same by taking simple a dielectric material, no design, nothing, but I am not getting the actual permittivity or permeability. Have you any idea?
Can i do it in FDTD without using lumerical code ???
Whether the expression to calculate the effective permittivity, permeability, refractive index and wave impedance will be different for TE and TM waves excited for Metamaterial SRR?
Sir, but according to this design should the ports placed on top and bottom?
Look at the direction of propagation wave. Thanks
@@SR89cae Sir, what if place the ports at top and bottom?
Hi Plz let me know the relation between the S-paramters and permittivity and permeability....thanks in advance
why the ports are placed at sides instead placing it at the top and bottom?
Depend on the direction of wave propagation (k)
why you added the negative sign in the angle part?
According to HFSS help. The result of angle plot is opposite of the actual formula
Can send me the Matlab code please?
Yes, pls contact me via email: sr89.cae@gmail.com

Check boundary conditions
Hello, could you please share the Matlab code with me as well? I have sent you an email.
