    Have you seen Kuiu's new Ecounter Divide 2800 pack. That one was especificly made for white-tail hunters, treestand hunters, and saddle hunters. If you haven't checked it out, you might want to give it a shot. Thanks for the reviews 🎯

      @@enjoytheoutdoors1018 I haven’t tested it yet. Looks like a nice pack though!

    I just use a 40 dollar canvas type pack that has a large opening for my vest on colder days and mayb snack or two dont need anything to fancy since all my gear is in a tree as we speak walk in and climb sit down

    I ended up selling my first lite transfer pack and going with the Kuiu pack for all those reasons you recommended! Pumped to use it hunting this year!

      Nice! Yeah, I think the transfer is a good pack for a specific type of hunter. Just could use some refining and tweaking to make it more versatile IMO. Thanks for watching, I think you’ll love the Kuiu!

    Great video. Has the vibe of a tech review but really useful for a pack. On paper I thought I wanted the sitka but this changed my mind.

      Thanks for watching! I appreciate the kind words. The Sitka pack is still a great one. Each one of these is good, just at different things.

    I have the tool bucket and I agree with your assessment of it. I’ve found that I actually don’t like hanging it from the lid and have kind of modified it

    • @galinswigart
      @galinswigart  Год назад

      I noticed the same. It’s nice to have access to those pockets, but the pack tends to flop around when hanging from a lit so high above it’s center of gravity. Good concept, just isn’t my favorite way to use it. Good pack, though!

      @@galinswigart agree. Good pack for what it is, I don’t mobile hunt a ton so good for my uses

    Well done! I think I'll stick with the Pop Up 28 for now though.

    You need to try the badlands connect pack. I carry a lot of crap while self filming and the lay out is just pure genius and all the extra pockets and pouches you can add for cheap is just amazing.

    Exo Mtn. Gear is tops.

      I have an Exo K4 for backpack hunts and absolutely love it. Best frame pack I’ve used.
      But I would never even consider taking it with me Whitetail hunting. Just isn’t built for the style of hunting I do.

      It’s still a good pack, a lot of people love it including me. Just isn’t my number once choice.

    How do you fasten your sticks to the pack

    • @galinswigart
      @galinswigart  10 месяцев назад

      Using the compression straps on the back or sides. Sometimes I do all 4 in a stack on the back, other times I do 2 stacks of 2 on the sides with the standoffs facing in towards the back to avoid snagging.

    Have you ever tried Exo-Mtn Gear?

    • @galinswigart
      @galinswigart  Год назад +1

      I have. They’re my favorite choice for western hunting packs. Just a little overbuilt for whitetail hunting with a full external frame. Great company with awesome packs though!
      Hoping to review their new pack, but only so much room in the budget for gear to review haha
