    Yoooooo was excited to see you do this comparison. Thanks for another awesome video, bros!
    Was thinking about getting a Sledge but ended up finding a Typhon V5 cheap locally. Truggified it and it’s awesome! It’s the all purpose basher I wanted the Rustler to be and 6S is CRAZY!
    I wanted a stunt truck/MT, so I took the Rustler, spent about $60 on Hoss parts at Jenny’s RC, and made a Hustler out of it. The thing’s a blast!

      @@redbanditracing I seen that! Kind of a bummer that they didn’t go with the HD kit on it imo. Cool to see another tire option though!

    The Sledge can do doubles. When you're at the top of the ramp, pop a wheelie. It'll flip much faster but it's extremely violent.

    Sledge without a doubt

    Nice Video. I've a Traxxas HOSS and drive it with 4S. For me the best car ever.

    What is that cloth on the chassis at 1:38?

    • @redbanditracing
      @redbanditracing  8 месяцев назад +4

      It’s a chassis bag/cover. Really helps keep rocks and stuff out of the chassis.

    I love my sledge, but feel it’s a bit large at certain locations. Contemplating getting the new HD Rustler to toss in the car and rip around whenever. The 1/16 MERV is fun, but I’m afraid to send it too far bc it’s not fun to work on. 😂

    • @redbanditracing
      @redbanditracing  3 месяца назад

      Sledge is large, definitely My favorite. The Rustler you can take almost anywhere which is great. And yes the Merv will break if you send it too hard. Arms, axles, center driveshaft are all very breakable.

    Nice video. Good content. I’ve been in this hobby for a long time and have owned several brands. The Rustler is a legend . Tried and true. No nonsense about it. Fun, fast and durable and will drive just about anywhere. I always laugh when I read comments from people saying that it’s a good “first car” or entry level rig. And that may be true to a degree. But you can’t beat its simplicity for what it can do coupled with its durability. It’s easy to work on and there’s tons of hop up parts for it if that’s your thing. For me, switch out the Rustler’s ESC with a Hobbywing ESC and you’ll never look back. But then again, if you want to spend close to a $1000 on an RC car 😳 then buy a Sledge.

      We will be trying out Hobbywing for the BANDIT. Rustler is a lot of fun no doubt.

    I have both and enjoy them equally. I would get the rustler if I could only have one. sledge probably needs a little more space to run in

    • @redbanditracing
      @redbanditracing  6 месяцев назад +1

      Very true, you need a little extra room because of the size and power.

    The rustler has been the most reliable car I have ever had, and the sledge the most unreliable but the one the drives the best (RTR wise) it would be a tough choice I had to choose only one of them tbh... Good vid

      Totally agree! Today we bashed the Sledge a little too hard, and nothing broke. Video will be up in a week or so, big jumps and hard hits.

      I have the slege and the rustler. The slege is really good and really fun. But like it costs like 1000 dollars and the rustler costs like 5000 so it's a big difference between them. The rustler is a much better first car, If you dont have so much experience of drivning rc cars, then the rustler is a great Choice.
