- Yall! I am so excited to be fishing my very first boat tournament with the LBA womens fishing club here on Guntersville!!! Also- nervous.

Kristine, Love your videos. You are such an inspiration to us female anglers. I am looking to upgrade my baitcast reel so I can start learning how to skip my baits. You are so skilled at skipping your baits, just amazing. What reel do you use? Have you considered doing an instructional video on skipping, explaining gear selection, how you got started, how you perfected your skills, what worked for you and what did not? I fish from my kayak and also a boat so understanding the different approach between sitting in kayak seat, lower to the water and standing on a boat’s casting deck would be helpful. Thanks Desi

Wow Kristine this is what gets me so hyped up for you and what a way to start your new journey complete with other great female anglers on a bass boat!! Taking someone under your wing for a day is why I think you’re such an amazing high class angler which I have so much respect for! Anytime I see a young female’s RUclips channel and she is bass fishing I will always direct her to your channel for inspiration and motivation that she can become someone great in bass fishing. I was just at GTO's in Scottsboro an hour ago. Just came up from Florida to do some kayak bass fishing. Good luck in your tournament.

The biggest advantage of a boat is when making a run.. It is like having an air conditioner lol
That has been so nice, especially for a pattern fisherman like me
And it won't take u a week to get there lol
It's ok to be a little afraid of your boat. There are some real nuts on the water who don't boat etiquette, therfore being cautious is a good thing 👌🏿 You'll get it.
You will have a good time, it's just your positive outlook. Your junk fishing will boat your 15 lb. I have faith. 😊 Can't wait to see you both get a limit.
Need to get a pair of grass ninja's or a TH marine grass goat on that trolling motor! They'll definitely help keep some grass of the motor and blades!

Things will be way different now in a boat , you can’t get boats in them small areas like kayaks , you’ll have to learn other tactics for sure. Good luck
