Ive made skirts before and they came out okay but the thing is im not big on measurements i just know i have to leave out a certain amount for zip, seams and all the other stuff but u explained all the measurements so well compare to other videos ive watched now i can actually measure properly 😊 you went slow and took your time. Really nice. Just stumbled on your channel now. Your tutorial is really easy. I have a question pls, the 8 inches that was measured from the waist downward,am guessing its more like a waist to hip measurement, now is that a standard measurement or i have to measure the individual to get it. What about a high waisted skirt, do i still use 8?

You're welcome. Thanks for watching. People generally use between 7 and 9 inches. However, if you're just starting and you're not yet comfortable deducing the right measurement to use, you can measure the person :)
