An off duty officer in his squad car aided us and actually got into it with an 80yt old man for trying to pass and cut some of us off. The officer told him at your age you should know better and be wanting the same respect as she deserves and made the man stay put. I cried I was so happy and it was worth the extra. How can a company not tied to law enforcement be allowed to escort if they can not enforce the law of other drivers on the road during a procession??? Why is this even a company though? My mother just past on Mother’s Day. I didn’t want people cutting her procession off so we paid extra for police escort. An off duty officer in his squad car aided us and actually got into it with an 80yt old man for trying to pass and cut some of us off. The officer told him at your age you should know better and be wanting the same respect as she deserves and made the man stay put. I cried I was so happy and it was worth the extra. How can a company not tied to law enforcement be allowed to escort if they can not enforce the law of other drivers on the road during a procession??? It feels like these funeral homes were jipped and jipped their customers with a false service.
