"Chang is one of the top 4.5 players in Charlotte, NC." I'm amazed that a panhandle server can be #1 ranked 4.5 on some ladder of 40+ 4.5 players... I mean real 4.5 players would be able to control and dictate points so well against Chang.
Chang has incredible court coverage. Part two? And what was the score. Looks like you were dominating at the start and then got tired and unforced error count went up.
That’s just plain awful to watch. I’m sure he’s a very nice guy, but he’s a terrible tennis player. I realize he technically wins matches, but in reality, he’s not winning anything. He frustrates his opponents into losing matches. If he’s one of the top 4.5 players in Charlotte, then I need to be on the tour.
Yes, many...i have about 5 overgrips and 6 grams of lead tape for 400grams (14.11oz) total weight! i have a slow swing on my forehand so the weight at least gives it some pop
@@usopenjohn3725 wow that is definitely far from stock. I added a little lead tape to mine as well. You seriously have 5 overgrips? Was it to add weight or you needed a bigger more rounded grip? I heard people switch the base grip to a leather grip to add weight without having to add too many grips.
@@PURETENNISsense I was finding that i could get more muscle into the ball with a thicker grip so that was the initial reason, but now it seems like the weight is a nice benefit too. I have never had a lot of whip on my forehand so I've been able to go alot thicker on the grip.
I'd suggest John bring his net game up to the same (high) standard as his baseline game. Maybe play some doubles. Then I suspect he could heavily beat this type of player by coming to net and drawing opponent to the net.
Change is the MEP protege
Mep is much better
John vs MEP little brother
Le nouveau MEP est arrivé
4.0 level for sure. Chang is 3.5. You out here straight lying to people lol.

Didn’t know you could be a 4.5 with a pan frying serve at a slow pace. 🤷🏼♂️
Chang vs MEP. Make it happen
It just did : ]

no man. it is a common thing that pushers who can defend well and lob you all the time are hard to beat on any amateur's level.
What racket are you using? It kind of looks like the all black prostaff.
yes sir thats the one
@@usopenjohn3725 awesome racket. Any modifications done to it?

playing against Chang is like playing wall practice
Really nice double hander, keep up the videos 👌
Agree John has good strokes.

typical 3.0-3.5 play level.
Your partner is lucky to be a 3.0.
Ya huge variation in different regions. In southern California where I played, he would get destroyed at 4.5. What is your (John) NTRP?
@@andysu9745 a 4.0-4.5.
@@kenharris7194 do you know him or is that your assessment of John?
@@andysu9745 no I don't know him. Sorry, I was talking about my rating. John is a 4.5 but he is playing much weaker player.
@@kenharris7194 oh ok. Ya I put JOhn in ( ). Agree he is a solid 4.5. Cant believe the other guy is #1 in 4.5s over there.
4.0 v 2.5 lol
wow
Chang plays badminton style of tennis..lol
Neither is 4.5
