Hi Everyone ! A shorter video than we usually do but this wrench is quite uncommon ! Hope you'll like it :-)
I have one exactly the same!

I like that you always show the function after the restoration. It makes me appreciate your work when I know how it will be used.
"will" is a strong word. Still, yeah I agree!
I always admire how you never buy replacement parts but always choose to fabricate new ones. The sign of real craftsmen.

In the amount of time it would take me to run to home depot, lowes, then the hardware just find the right size, wrong type of bolt he made one from scratch.
Seeing screws being made for the first time was the coolest thing I've ever seen in my life.
Go check out MyMechanics channel
Seeing rusted screws being torqued off is the saddest thing in my life this week....
Esp the Allen bolt was filled up with weld and then machined to perfect one
Your assistant who was doing a quality control inspection seemed to be very thorough! Great job, Avril! 🐈
She let him break off the bolts though :D
Meh, it's obvious the cat doesn't enjoy those cameos, it doesn't walk into the shot, it is placed there.
Once again, some kitty timestamps:
3:03 Avril on duty, checking the rust removal
5:50 I think there's a 'meow' in the background around here
10:39 Coming in for a sniff, the orange fluff is back
10:59 And once more
Thanks for the video, it's awesome! May God bless you
Cat is in charge
Watching you work is so therapeutic. I love that you take so much care and show such attention to old tools
Really liked the restoration of this specialty tool, and thanks for the demo at the end to explain what it is used for.
I really like this restoration, and the way you made the marks with a file and a vise was very creative. Keep It up!
1000 points for your exceedingly inventive knurling and milling techniques ;-)
I love all your fabrication work-arounds for when you don't own a metal lathe.
What is a lathe really, other than a horizontal drill? 🧐
Yes! Most impressive how he makes simple tools do ‘machining’ jobs!
Jeez! Both knurl knobs snapped off! And you refabricated both of them! What a lot of work! Came out looking great though. Nice job man!
I have never seen this tool in use before. Great video!

Very interesting tool! Very good work! I am a big fan of yours! keep it up...
Thank you! Seeing screws made without the use of highly expensive machinery was awesome!
YES oh my goodness! i thought that was so cool seeing them made by hand like that! every time it happened i was like "oh wow... i just watched them make a screw" and it still blows my mind lol!
that has to be the most unique pliers I've ever seen, very nicely done.
Absolutely beautiful work milling the parts. Truly amazed 😮🎉
Lol, I never seen that tool before. I appreciate you showing how it is used, well done!
Awesome how you used basic tools to re-make the thumb screw!
Glad you did the test,I really wanted to see how it works 👍🏻🍀
Great job! amazing resolution without a lathe! You're an artesan, and the world is running out of them.
I had no idea what that was until you used it on the saw. Very impressive restoration. You do such excellent work. Avril thinks you do purrfect work. I agree.

I like watching rusty Tool restorations. Watching you use files for knurling was a stroke of genius.
That's some pretty good "alternative knurling" you did there. Great vid!
Great job restoring the old saw set. Lot of work fabricating and replacing the broken screws. I like your knurling jig. Excellent job!
Great job bringing this wrench back to fantastic working conditions. I love how you made the screws also. You are a true craftsman.
Some masterly creative bodging there. Good stuff, very impressive
5:20 Aha! Your secret is out! Such excellent work can only be achieved with your three hands! (and one cat of course!)
Nice work with making a new one! And do you even need to ask about restoring the saw? Of course!
Making the knurled screw without a metal lathe, amazing! I am going to try this sometime!
Amazing what you did with some files and a drill press. That is almost lathe quality.
Yes!! Restore the rip saw. I collect saws for use in my business as a wood turner a have a few saw sets but, not like yours. Great video 👌👌.
nah, it's fine. just needs oiling to protect from the air.
Great work. I liked working with simple tools depending mostly on your hands. Keep on
Impressive persistence for nightmare bolts and screws. Most impressive was turning the thumb screw on the drill press and then using files and a vice to create the knurls...Bravo for ingenuity and quality of restoration. Love the filigree on old tools like this that were built by craftsmen and women with pride of workmanship. Thanks always for your great restorations and hard work! Hat Tip, ~PJ
Who needs a lathe when you can make it on a drill press! Great work with cool results. Thank you for the nice video of the transformation!!
The lengths you go to to make screws always amazes me. No lathe? no problem! Really cool tool and really nice restoration!
Neat idea gnarling that screw with the files and vice. HI AVRIL!
Okay, fabricating that knurled screw has blown my mind. Bravo!
Cool way of knurling! Well done. What a neat plier and nice to see it work. Thanks.
Very creative to use the drill as a makeshift lathe! Turned out relly good!
Fantastic fabrication. Ingenious use of the files for knurling. Also your orange apprentice is very supportive. Wonderful content.
A grade 10 restoration, bravo, I was very satisfied at the end. ❤️👌💯
I am always fascinated by and enjoy your craftsmanship and creativity. Thank you.
Excellent travail de restoration, de bonnes prises de vue. Félicitation pour ce beau résultat. Québec, Canada....👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Nice restoration of the saw set, well done.
Such delicate work.
I'm not sure how to word it, but I especially liked when you re-notched the increments.
Nicely done.
Who the hell is leaving a thumbs down!? Love these videos...
Excelente restauração! 👏👏
Great restoration! Second life for old tool is cool!!!😀
Watching you make the knurled screw alone was worth it. Many thanks for showing us how the pliers functioned.
RESPECT how you machined parts on the drill press. Inspiring.
What a useful tool, too.
my father had this tools..he used everytime he sharpen saws.... love your restoration...
I really liked the way you used a drill press to make the thumb screw; especially the part where you used two files and a vise to knurl it. That was very resourceful and creative. Outstanding! 😀
Pretty interesting tool, dude! 😃
Fantastic work!!!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Beautiful, keep it up guys! ❤
The job you did making the finger screw and knurling it with the vise and files was brilliant. Great restoration.
Real great workman ship and cool ideas to produce the new "screws"
You Sir do amazing work and make it look so easy! You deserve all the likes and your cat is super awesome.
Avril was pleased with the work you did on this !
Great job guys !! They look like brand new !! 👍👍👍
Never seen knurling done like that with metal files, turned out well!
that's what it was for! I had one at home and I didn't know what it was for . very good job
A brilliant solution to the broken screws. Overall, excellent restoration.
Drill press for a lathe and a vice with files for knurking. Just awesome. Love it.
Eu precisava de um desses. Ótimo vídeo.
I didn't even know that type of tool existed. Thanks for sharing.

I love the animal's head in the jaws' design! How fun.
Wow! Interesting metal working techniques.
Thought it was really cool how you added the knurling back to the knob you made. I wouldn't have thought of doing it that way.
If you put it in Rust remover first, you avoid many of the screws breaking. Evapo-Rust is works amazing.
Hola. Muy buen trabajo como siempre. No conocía esta herramienta.
So that's what these are for! I got those pliers too, never knew what to use them for. Cool video ;)
Bigger fan of the objects you get that have gears or require sandblasting, but I always love watching you work. Great job!
I just got to know a new tool and its application, thank you for showing it
oh my goodness! watching your papa file down that giant bolt into something slim and beautiful shows just how much skill and patience that man has!!! masterful
Eu tenho um desses em perfeito estado. Parabéns pelo trabalho
Nice job ! Good idea to restore the saw. Bonjour à Avril !
