Studio 28 is a ar/restaurant, in the vicinity she lives in in Metro Manila, which they rent after hours. They have done couple of other performances there. 3RD Ave is the band that have played behind her since 2016. lead by Adonis Tabanda (bass) and her musical director, who arranged this medley. First time in 100 reactions I’ve heard someone not like the arrangement? As someone who has heard a whole bunch of medleys I thought this one transitioned great and the singer is phenomenal. Maybe you can give me an example of 15 song medley where the transitions suit you better ?? I’d be interested to hear it so I can educate myself.

What didn’t u like about the arrangement and transitions??
I think the arrangement was great, I do believe in (some) of the transitions they just felt a bit rushed is all.
Although I understand retention is important so maybe they didn’t want the time in between songs to take too long, so it’s understandable. I just would’ve preferred transitions that allowed the listener to kinda get lost in the amazing performance, rather than rushed through it.
@@themusiqnetwork2679 I believe they did several other tracks at this location (two of each for safety) on the same day - each with costume changes - and had to be out of the bar before it opened so that could explain some of the non-stop aspect of the Bruno medley.

@@themusiqnetwork2679 I know what you mean, I prefer the arrangement to be long for one song between transititions so we can enjoy the song more if its too rushed we wont enjoy the songs more but overall Morissete did a great job for the 14 Medley. Did you watch her sing the Beyonce Medley? It was so amazing, if you havent you should check it out, she wore a black outfit, by the way, how is ur college?

I have seen perhaps 50+ different reactors reacting to this particular video and NOT ONE ever had anything crticial to say about the arrangement...only you...hmmmm???
The arrangement was great. (Some transitions) felt slightly rushed. Just my opinion. No right or wrong answer here though 🙏🏽 you’re more than welcome to see all of the other reactions I’ve done of Morissette’s performances though. I’ve never been critical up until this very video.

This particular discussion is from two different perspectives.....one from a fans perspective, and another from a long time musicians perspective. This production was done to put out as FREE content for the world to enjoy Morissette via YT. It is not a highly orchestrated music video that should be put on a pedestal and evaluated as suchl. All I need to hear feedback on is the vocals of Morissette. Anything else is non relevant to me since this about Morissette and not Adonis and his crew and their work on the arrangement. In my fan based opinion I couldn't be happier with the arrangement as well as I am not nitpicking on anything that's not something major to mention

It took me quite a few listens to feel that the more jarring transitions have become part as one with the whole piece. Such is the challenge when doing 2-3 medleys let alone about a dozen. Now the only one that sticks out the most is the transition going into locked out of heaven. Otherwise, I really like this piece.
people that don't like morisette are just jealous haters. i just laugh at them cause they seem like they're afraid that mori's going to take their favorite artist away 🤣🤣
