Love my ac30 heritage head yours sounds great. I have a Seimens EF86 running through a peavey 212 greenbacks:)
Great combination
work better by far than my old vintage AC30 with silver bells:)
Eh! Eh!
oh that snare strings...Great video ,like always .
You can hear it?!? Great
the vox sounds great , but i was staring at the matchless the whole time : )
Yeah! Me too! :-D So nice and GREEN!
Eh! Eh! I know I know
Very very nice thanks
🙏🙏🙏
Dang, I so love that very special Vox amp.
I myself is a happy owner of a Vox AC30HW60 - there 60th anniversary edition and I love it to bits.
It is build in England 2017 with '64 specs, meaning no master volume, no reverb and no FX loop. So it is laud as hell if you crank it lol.
Best regards from Denmark
Wow!! Didn’t know that model
@@BuddaGuedes no wonder you did not know that model. Only 150 units was made at the Marshall factory.
But this one.

You have nice demos, I like them a lot. Any chance you might review the Fender '57 Custom Champ? If only... Thanx!
I built one and did two episodes on it. It’s a TAD amp not a fender but the topology is very similar
Awesome ❤😊
Thanks
Very nice sounds! Are there NOS tubes in the amp?
Just the stock ones
Looking at one of these, how much does the AC15HTV combo weigh? Debating getting the head version or not. The AC15's these days are pretty heavy for a 15 watt amp. Also curious can the channels be jumpered and used together?
Maybe they can be jumped. I didn’t test it
Budda!! My friend!! Could you pairing this amp with Deluxe Reverb 65 pleaseee? 🤗❤️
It’s one of the goals. Will be doing it soon
Sounds like maybe a bad screen resistor on the EF86, you dont want that to go open it could blow your power transformer. Tech time!
I just sprayed a little contact cleaner on the tubes and it was solved
Hi there! I also have this amp but I wanna try to retube it but I don't wanna use the tubes from the kits online. I wanna experiment with different ones. I read that you have to have one 12AX7 being "current balanced" for the phase inverter in V4. The thing is, I don't know what that means! haha! Could you maybe help me out or maybe give me advice with that? Thank you so much!
I’ve never heard of this. I think you can try any tube and decide if you like it
@@BuddaGuedes So I could just buy tubes directly from the box and swap them without doing anything to them? Thanks!!
It’s no longer stock, so the demo is kinda useless….
I’m not hearing it as purchased….
Next video please! 😉✌🏻
I generally enjoy your videos, keep em coming! 🎶
There’s a lot of different speaker options on this.
The chinese blue alnico it came with this amp is not as good as an uk celestion blue alnico, try one used and worn and you’ll be amazed by the tone of this ac15
I also put a Mullard EF86 from the 60s on mine
👌
Made in uk in the good era...
It’s made in China but it’s incredible
Stopped at Made in China - sad day for Vox
You should at first hear it and then take your opinion. It’s one of the greatest amps I have
Then throw away your phone and the majority of your electronics and appliances. It's a new world. I'm 72 years old, from a time when "Made in Japan" meant junk. Now it's quality. Things change.
It's all in the specifications, nothing wrong with the source of most of our stuff, but you have to order the good kind of bits. I have a Marshall that looks like it may have design challenges, but it is working so far. This particular model Vox has been on my list for a while now, nobody has anything bad to say about them that I have ever heard. They even got a EF86 into there, lots of folks shy away from that, I still want two.
