I recognised several members of the congregation in the video. I'm listening to it while there is a storm outside. Glad I'm not at sea in that weather. God bless all those who go to the sea in ships.
I'm so grateful for this. This is a hymn that was taught at our school when I was in 4th grade. It is a strong part of who I am today. Thank you so so much.

Love Lowry's eponymous set of short stories
Right here in 2020 . Seeking to sing praises to my Lord and maker.
Thank God for hymns. They give peace especially at dawn. what a breath of prayer and assurance that the Lord lives
Thank you. Anglican Hymns seem more traditional classical music then Roman Catholics. Enoyed it.
Filmed in Peel Cathedral, not Peel Castle (that's the name of the tune !)
(Isle of Man)
it is the Manx Fisherman's Evening Hymn.
The tune is the air, Eaisht oo as Clashtyn.
sleep well hector
I wish they stop showing this on BBC 1 on Sunday it's rubbish no one even watches this any more
Well I used to watch it and I wish I still could. Frankly, it would be a better world if people returned to belief in God.
If only you knew what it means to the Manx
Tell that to the 1million people that tune in every week, we are a Christian country
