These are Tanric Mantras mantras are sounds which are designed to touch various aspects or chakras within our body. So many times they don't have any specific meaning. Meaning is not important the SOUND is important!
I always believe in Jesus even when I was very young, I felt in loved with Jesus. But, my hubby not, he is Buddhist n I copied these mantras for my children health, safety n prosperity too
Today I did a longer meditation session (1 hour), and I felt a lot of discomfort during sitting ... I thought to myself "I shouldn't stand up, I should sit longer to finish the meditation" But the desire to move was very strong... I felt pain, but then I called to Avalokitesvara, "Namo Avalokitesvara", please give me the strength to sit, please help me endure through pain And I felt something like a blissful wave of light emanating from an Avalokite floating in front of me mid air, and I could fiind the strength to go back to śamatha practice. Namo Avalokitesvara!
I am a Hindu but since childhood I loved to hear Chinese or Buddhist songs. I love to hear Buddhist songs. it gives me true relaxation. I also try to meditate by listening to Buddhist songs and music.
I am a pagan, and have often looked to these mantras to relax and find inner peace. I find this particular mantra very powerful during meditation. Thank you for sharing :)
It does not matter what faith you practise. What matters is your need to meditate and to find compassion in a not so compassionate world. May you be blessed.

The way can be Christian or Buddhist. But,many churches today do not preach compassion. And that is sad. And there is less meditative prayer than there used to be.
pride is not good in your journey of liberation. your mind must be free from any type of pride, warth and attachment. then only you can attain nirvana. 🙏🙏🙏 love from a Buddhist from India.
@@micamge well don't say that so soon. In certain cases, some souls had good karma in the form of luck, and pride towards country or community pushed them to self sacrifices in wars. That in turn make them Ugra deities in the heavens which is cause of why they understood the dharmas because the heavens is the nearest to the buddhas. A lot of bodhisattvas love to be heaven deities too, so we can teach other deities(we aren't hiding in heavens😖) 😅In short, it was luck and impulsivity that indirectly halped some to gain wise knowledge.

err this is not this particular mantra. Plus, the mantra that I can see you translated to, has been altered to more like hindu than bodhi. Can't you see it?
the basic idea of that mantra, is to say that, all beings should practice the precepts with these mantras in mind. Not to really call down A serpent or strong being, but to BECOME the strong being yourself. That's why earlier on there is the immaculate image saying.

Follow this, for the closest to the pronunciation. Note: for the "Arahate" portion, the H is silent. So, "Ara-ate". If J is first letter, pronounce as Je. Pronounce "ratna" as "radna", "buddha" as "bootar" and "bodhi" as "bootee". Nammo ratna trayaya. Nammo arya jnanam, sangara, Vairochana. Vyuha rajaya dhatagataya. Arahate, samyadsam buddhaya. Nammo sarva dhatagatebeh. Arahatebeh, samyadsam buddhebeh. Nammo arya Valokite-shvaraya, bodhisadvaya, maha sattaya, maha karunikaya. Daiyadha, "om, dhara dhara, dhiri dhiri, dhuru dhuru. Ette veh ette, chaleh chaleh. Parachaleh, parachaleh. Kushmeh kushma vareh. illi, milli chitti jvalam apana'eh, shvaha!" for any's reference 😐 Translation for humans: Reverence to the Three Treasures. (buddhas, sangas, earth Dharmas) Reverence to the saintly wiser, very first buddha from the very first Earth, Ra(light) to any sanga(practitioner groups), Vairochana(great sun's guidance). Honoured king of all completely freed beings. Themself an arahat(a being not lower than complete light), equivalent as a buddha. Reverence to all completely freed beings. Themselves arahats, thus all equivalent as buddhas. Reverence to the arya (saintly) Valokite (all-seeing) -shvaraya (a sage/heaven guardian), a bodhisattva (a bodhi aspirant/saint), a being of greatness, a great-compassionate being. Thus, the mantra(mindset) goes: "It's said, oh, be diligent, focus and steady. Bit by bit, march forward, push forward. Bridge/cross over, towards the goal. Flowers(nice natural scent) surround us.(note here it means "may success to all practitioners") Freeing that one tiny flame in the heart/mind(the bodhi spirit), success!"

I am hindusm follower....but I love Lord Buddha.
Today I did a longer meditation session (1 hour), and I felt a lot of discomfort during sitting ... I thought to myself "I shouldn't stand up, I should sit longer to finish the meditation"
But the desire to move was very strong... I felt pain, but then I called to Avalokitesvara, "Namo Avalokitesvara", please give me the strength to sit, please help me endure through pain
And I felt something like a blissful wave of light emanating from an Avalokite floating in front of me mid air, and I could fiind the strength to go back to śamatha practice.

Its the power of sanskrit, heiling from worlds that long predates India.
It does not matter what faith you practise. What matters is your need to meditate and to find compassion in a not so compassionate world. May you be blessed.
what kind of pagan (just curious)
@@krh-kq9qy pagan are the ones who believe in nature :) so there is no God or to say God has no face but God is everywhere and in every form. I love the concept of paganism.

I am a witchcraft beginner, but since I was a child I felt connected with buddhism mantras. I particularly love this one, i can feel the peace that my anxiety almost never allows me to feel, and whenever I feel Disturbed by something, I sing this mantra.
Nice version, btw

The way can be Christian or Buddhist. But,many churches today do not preach compassion. And that is sad. And there is less meditative prayer than there used to be.
I am so lucky , I am a buddist. I proud for my religon
Are you new to buddhism?
I think you're missing the point of it. A lot.
pride is not good in your journey of liberation. your mind must be free from any type of pride, warth and attachment. then only you can attain nirvana. 🙏🙏🙏 love from a Buddhist from India.
@@samgamer868 Haha luck and proud, that ain't buddhism Bro' ! Respect, Namaskar
A lot of bodhisattvas love to be heaven deities too, so we can teach other deities(we aren't hiding in heavens😖)
😅In short, it was luck and impulsivity that indirectly halped some to gain wise knowledge.
Why I find this beautiful, I'm not even buddhist but im loving to listen it. I can't explain this good feeling.

The term lord actually is more Hindu, Christian or Muslim than ours, as it suggests masculinity over women as is always is in those religions and cultures.
Its not dharma its dhamma in buddhism dont mix hindu dharma culture with buddhism there is difference between dharma and dhamma, hinduism is about class system and where as in buddhism it is not.

@@rogercoppock407 nope. Amitabha was mother of the princess who eventually became AryaValokiteshvara. Please be clear of the spelling is not perfect, but is perfect for the pronunciation.
When Amitabha was an empress regnant, she made the Bodhisattva Vow and then was called Amitayus bodhisattva. When she became a buddha she took on a form more neutral-gendered appearance, that one people worshipped as Amita buddha or also called Amitabha Buddha

Je crois que je devais découvrir ce chant. Il coule dans mes oreilles, corps, âme, depuis hier soir.
Meaning of what is being sung - translation:
1. Adoration to the Triple Gem. Adoration to ārya Avalokiteśvarā, bodhisattva, mahāsattva, the Great Compassionate One. Oṃ. Having paid adoration to One who protects in all dangers, here is the [recitation] of the names of Nīlakaṇṭha, as chanted by ārya Avalokiteśvarā.
2. I shall enunciate the 'heart' [dhāraṇī] which ensures all aims, is pure and invincible for all beings, and which purifies the path of existence.
3. THUS. Oṃ. O Effulgence, World-Transcendent, come, oh Hari, the great bodhisattva, descend, descend. Bear in mind my heart-dhāraṇī. Accomplish, accomplish the work. Hold fast, hold fast, Victor, oh Great Victor. Hold on, hold on, oh Lord of the Earth. Move, move, oh my Immaculate Image. Come, come, Thou with the black serpent as Thy sacred thread. Destroy every poison. Quick, quick, oh Strong Being. Quick, Quick, oh Hari. Descend, descend, come down, come down, condescend, condescend. Being enlightened enlighten me, oh merciful Nīlakaṇṭha. Gladden my heart by appearing unto me.
To the Siddha hail. To the Great Siddha hail. To the Lord of Siddha Yogins hail. To Nīlakaṇṭha hail. To the Boar-faced One hail. To the One with the face of Narasiṃha hail. To One who has a lotus in His hand hail. To the Holder of a cakra in His hand hail. To One who sports a lotus(?) in His hand hail. To Nīlakaṇṭha the tiger hail. To the mighty Śaṇkara hail.
4. Adoration to the Triple Gem. Adoration to ārya Avalokiteśvarā, hail.

err this is not this particular mantra.
This mantra give me energy. Namo Buddha🙏🙏🙏

I have been listening to this mantra for years, but I am very happy today to have the copy written. this is a lot, the Buddha is wonderful!
Follow this, for the closest to the pronunciation.
Note: for the "Arahate" portion, the H is silent. So, "Ara-ate". If J is first letter, pronounce as Je. Pronounce "ratna" as "radna", "buddha" as "bootar" and "bodhi" as "bootee".
Nammo ratna trayaya.
Nammo arya jnanam, sangara, Vairochana.
Vyuha rajaya dhatagataya.
Arahate, samyadsam buddhaya.
Nammo sarva dhatagatebeh.
Arahatebeh, samyadsam buddhebeh.
Nammo arya Valokite-shvaraya, bodhisadvaya, maha sattaya, maha karunikaya.
Daiyadha, "om, dhara dhara, dhiri dhiri, dhuru dhuru.
Ette veh ette, chaleh chaleh. Parachaleh, parachaleh.
Kushmeh kushma vareh.
illi, milli chitti jvalam apana'eh, shvaha!"
for any's reference 😐
Translation for humans:
Reverence to the Three Treasures.
(buddhas, sangas, earth Dharmas)
Reverence to the saintly wiser, very first buddha from the very first Earth, Ra(light) to any sanga(practitioner groups), Vairochana(great sun's guidance).
Flowers(nice natural scent) surround us.(note here it means "may success to all practitioners")
Freeing that one tiny flame in the heart/mind(the bodhi spirit), success!"
Thank you!!
