I think AB’s European open fiasco hardened him and humbled him. He has this humble confidence and now he’s getting experience finishing tournaments with the win. He’s going to have a hell of a career.
AB should drop his stretching routine on his channel. I bet a lot of people would love an instructional warm up video
I don’t know why players keep it a big secret.

@@ryanmussell739 yeah, the channels related tothis sport need to take a page from other RUclips sport channels. Climbing channels all have technique lessons, stretching routine, warm ups, progression, and product review videos. AB should do the same. Make a video about BH and FH technique. Do a video about stretching. Do a video about warming up putts before a round. There’s a lot of information that could be shared and monetized on RUclips.

I live in a northern climate and the snow finally melted last month.
I looked on here and r/ discgolf for field work throwing routines and there was barely anything.
Except put out a target at 150,200,250 and 300ft and try to hit them.
Here after ABs Win on this Courses Open. 3rd Win this Year..

Thanks for these interview practice rounds, they are awesome! You ask a lot of great questions but I think they would be even better if you ask the good question that you start with and wait for their answer and then probe deeper if they didn't get detailed enough instead of asking a great question and then before giving them a chance to respond, feeding them a bunch of partial answers or ideas that could bias how they end up answering the question.
All the extra stuff are great thoughts and ideas too, perfect for follow ups if they didn’t mention it.

Exactly. He asks a great question very simply and then keeps explaining and sort of answering it for them at the same time. Ask the question, let them answer, ask follow up questions. I've been wanting to make this comment for a while but didn't want to be a dick.

Drew, the open ended questions you asked, with AB's thoughtful answers, made for such an interesting interview. AB talking about repeated exposure therapy to get over hole 16 at the EO, along with the resulting social media response, was pretty cool. Well done!
Got AB's signature at 2019 worlds in utah and he wasnt very happy with how he played but still signed my disc and he is a super nice dude. I have gotten alot of signatures and he has been one of the best.

13:04 it really is the law to have two putters that look exactly the same in each hand. Feel naked putting with one disc in my throwing hand, comes from practice and repetition I think

I am loving these interview rounds with drew. Doing a great job really getting to know the players. And I know it is weird but I would like to know what kind of kicks the players wear and why. Some got cushy comphy shoes and others rock the barefoot. I have done both but it I wonder why the pros choose what they choose

Maybe it’s just me but I’d love to see more shots and fewer questions. Ask the questions walking between holes or shots, but to stop and stand there and do podcast interview questions isn’t why i watch a practice round.
