My tractor (M62) takes the same fluid. My dip stick is chrome and I have a heck of a time seeing the level as my stick is chrome. I even scratched my stick up but it helped very little. I will try the sharpie. Thank you!
Thanks for making this video. You are so correct about the manual not being clear. I screwed up and removed the bolt near the yellow filter, you know, the one with the spring and the ball on the suction side.
UDT oil is completely clear like water. By gearbox do you mean on the tractor or the mower? In the mower gear box that can be white because that would be gear oil not UDT oil. And a lot of people I am assuming use gear oil for the front wheels. Where did you drain the fluid and see white?

It does help. I had to redraw on it as the ink tends to fade off in a year
