I think it's because the locations are all tourist areas and don't reflect the general locals

Honestly, tourists just mean it’s popular, and will probably have better fashion. Silverlake is just transplants, I promise you none of them are from LA. So is echopark and Los Feliz unfortunately as these places have all been gentrified. You’ll get some great fashion in Ktown, and it’ll be legit, and I admit I haven’t done Crenshaw yet. The La Brea area is just Jewish moms lol, though they can have great fashion haha. But asking regular people who aren’t into social media is harder than you think. It’s why these WAPW vids always focus on the fashion folks. They’re the ones who like the limelight. Alas, I’ll probably never make that Crenshaw video, as I’ve moved on from that genre. Though I do feel I have one or 2 really great fashion documentaries on this channel.
