I remember my very old tube radio you have to leave the little open so the heat would vent out, now my old black and white TV would work good as a heater. I was the only kid in the neighborhood that had his own black and white TV because I learned how to fix them.
It was an "or best offer" sale so I'm sure being sold by an antique store ( which also sold a Valiant as well) it was a steal of a deal. Nice restorable unit. Good thing the buyer had the wherewithal to send it to you Terry for an overhaul.
