These episodes were rehearsed & scripted. It was all scripted production much like the filming of any t.v. show. There were actual scripts, rehearsals, and retakes to get the right shots they wanted.
I'm not saying Grylls doesn't know his stuff, but this show was fake.
This was scripted & heavily edited film making with entertainment taking priority over reality

Honestly I have absolutely no idea how camera men do this. It is so impressive to move around at the same pace as Bear on that terrain with survival equipment and camera equipment

1 thing Bear forgot to mention. There are a lot of crocodiles in the Bornean river. A simple raft might not get you through.
There is no crocodile in Sabah..only sarawak had crocodile in their river..

Also the water is moving pretty fast which is super unpleasant to crocs, he would have to worry more in the slower parts of the river but where he was that’s not too big of a concern

George Mitchell theres no croc in this kind of water bro. Even fish. That is why fish trap is not ideal in this kind of environment. Vegetables and wild fruits are actually dominant in this kind of environment.
