This is the part where you fight a childhood friend of yours turned evil, another playable character (or one from the last game), the only good sub-leader of the vile group, the last boss from the faction you initially falsely think are the bad guys, a character guarding something important from all comers regardless of affiliation, a character who wants to test your skills, something along those lines.
Most of these songs I've heard from this youtuber usually remind me of old arcade games...this reminds me of a more modern game but still has that old arcade spark in it.

No connection, but my cat named Twilight Rose passed yesterday. Randomly thought of this song and who knew it felt like the final push you need to get through a rough situation. To me, it feels like the kind of final battle where you’re free to go all out while the big bad themselves is going all out and willing to take you down.
this would work so fucking well as a final boss theme - I love it.
