The concept seems intuitive and powerful. We just need more examples of how it can be implemented successfully and efficiently with setups of hundreds of notes (of primarily knowledge-based, academic information, not just basic “journaling” or “ideas”). Thanks!
Been using it for about 2 weeks now and loving it. The concept is something I’ve tried on my own for a long time now and always failed to figure out a way to make it work but this system makes it so clear to create a “master” note and use it daily
The Journal in this framework is intended to be a Forever Journal, inspired by Patrick from the New Perspectives channel www.youtube.com/@Patrick-NP Each Journal note, from Yearly notes to Daily notes, is meant to be reused each year. You're simply supposed to add a new Heading in the note for each year. Otherwise thanks for another interesting video!
Love this but the instructions jump around and aren’t easy to follow - and I do this kind of stuff for a living. Really appreciate putting this together. Background music didn’t bother me at all 😉
What I would really love is for someone to work on a process within the Apple ecosystem that incorporates Reminders, Freeform, Shortcuts as well as this upgraded form of Apple Notes in conjunction with email and calendar to really organize their online life.
Finding it is half the fun. Spending valuable time you'll never get back d*cking around with links, tags and shortcuts instead of being productive is the other half.
@@fanovaohsmuts No, he should just not include music if the idea is that he wants people to listen to what he is saying. When you're on the phone to someone, do you have a little speaker next to you, piping in background tunes for maximum enjoyment? Or, not really because you want the other person to listen to what you're saying?

I do not see the suggested link you referred to in the link in the description. “Your setup”

How do you make a big asterisk?
Yes please can’t find it either
Use this Unicode character ✱

@@rckang I agree. All the pieces are there!
Sorry for not being clear - www.myforevernotes.com/ - see "asterick" section
How did u set it up? Its not in the description below
Busy work for people who aren't busy doing work.
The guy saw how people use Obsidian and implemented the same practices in Apple Notes.
"You could have a directory-like experience." God, help us.
This can be applied elsewhere as well.
On a train, in a dentist's waiting room. Possibilities are endless. Wherever you want to be doing busy work instead of work, you can do this there.
Where is the Shortcut?
It’s on the website in the description

Confusing.✌🏼
You are bot supposed to recreate the journal each year.
Just make Headings inside each journal note 2023, 2024, 2025 etc.
You lost me at the beginning…how did you create the large asterisk??
i was confused too. searched it on google and just copied one I found.
It is shown in the video. Here's a good guide though: www.myforevernotes.com/
Kill the background music! Stopped watching because of it.
Yes it is really distracting
He should run an A/B test to see if people who hate the music are a vocal minority or majority.

Noted. I’ll reduce next time.
Or you could just watch the original videos by the creator (who doesn’t say Asterix rather than Asterisk)
lets go francescoooooo
Let's go!
1 view In 1 min. Bro fell off
Ey?
@@toolfinderhq The bro fell off, man. Pay attention. He fell right off!
I’m a McLaren fan, can you please redo the video with a proper (and more powerful) background? 🥸
This one hurt 😢 Can I convert you?
