- Trying out my new Rapala R12 cordless lithium fillet knife for the first time. I compare it to the older version Rapala Ion.

The knife is available at Amazon. Rapala R12 : amzn.to/49vxPQX
What’s your opinion now on this knife?
Well it's still the best option out there. Ive went through 6 of them. lol Im pretty hard on them though. I keep a spare.
Hello! Very nice knife, I got one in Canada, it’s very powerful. Very happy with the purchase. Good luck
Thank you. Im still in love with it.
“Haven’t cleaned perch in forever”
After the video, still haven’t cleaned any perch in awhile. Nice bream though
Not much return on investment for sure. However its the best tasting fish there is. IMO
I like my bream with tale on.The ends taste like chips when you fry them. To guy who said why bother. Bream taste really good.
Heck Ya..
That's pretty good there guy
Are the blades holding up good , will the blades from the other knife fit in the new R12 too ? Thanks .
They did pretty good. I cut through a lot of blue cats with them before i changed them out. I cant find the black blades but the silver replacement blades work fine. Fairly cheap to buy.
Nice video
who makes and where did you get your filet table for boat
I bought it off Amazon in 2020. Its been a good one.
Thanks for the info, can you please look on the back of the battery charger and see if it says 110v-230v i live in Norway and it’s 230v here, thanks
The input is 120vac 50/60hz 1.4amp. You will need to run it through a converter.
Real good review🤡🤦🏻♂️
I have the older model and has sucked from day one. Its a rattle trap and cuts like garbage
I agree.. Ive went through 2 of the newer models now. One trigger quit and the other had a blade not moving. But I use them almost a lot as a guide.
Why even bother with such small baby fish.
Because they are mature and taste fantastic. One of the best eating fish out there.

Isn’t the Bubba blade better?
@@rickkeeton9246 no. My friends have had issues with the Bubba. I wont buy one myself. I still use and like mine. My first one broke finally but i clean thousands of fish as a guide.
