Cool tidbit - Rhaenyra’s dragon Syrax is supposedly the mother of Lucerys’ dragon Arrax, and if so then both were mourning in that scene. Seeing Winterfell and the Wall straight away was an awesome start.
Oof, I was curious if Luke’s dragon had come from one of Syrax’s eggs - it felt like she was grieving too in that moment
I really wouldn't say jaehaerys was a bigger blow strategically lmao. Getting aemond would've deadass ended the war, king's landing could've been taken instantly without vhagar there. Killing the kid has only turned the cold war into a hot one
This was a huge mistake by team black the 3 brothers basically carried team green winning a lot of battles. Also only lost in the after math of the war when aegon and the queen were killed.

Everyone surprised they taking the boys head - when Blodd/Cheese say 3 times they need a head. I love this show - it tells us everything we need to know and yet we all still surprised when it happens!! Can't wait for EPS 2 this evening!

It's funny when u say helena is innocent and should be in team black like team black is innocent. The thing is team in which daemon exist can never be called innocent.

It'd be a tougher choice for me if they didn't write Aegon as a rapist who gets off on kids fighting like that. Daemon is a pos as well, but Rhaenyra isn't, so I'm Team Black. Since they made Aegon a monster, there's no way I'd choose Green.

Rhaenyra is not a fair queen, she should have punished her son for attacking Aemond and taking his eye, lol and if you are sure that Rhaenyra is the rightful queen, give the lords of Westeros the choice between her and Aegon like Jaehaerys did with Viserys and Rhaenys plus your party is brutal so I wouldn't support it in the first place it is full of thugs and child killers

Seeing the dull hedge knight promoted well beyond his limited abilities cavorting carnally with Queen Alicent Hightower was imo just as bad
You would prob like the tv show 'The Tudors' as well. A period monarchy drama based on the life of King Henry viii , i hear people say it's about 90% accurate to what happened in real life. As a bonus a mid 20's Henry Cavil and Jonathan Rhys Meyers are both in it.
I LOVED THAT SHOW!!! My mom and I had a phase where we binged all those period dramas from Starz; The White Queen, The White Princess, The Tudors, I wanna rewatch them they’re so good!

I'm a history lover. Both real and fiction so when I saw they were bringing henry 8th story to life I had to watch. Great show

Helaena and her children are the only innocent ones on team green. They're only on team green because they don't have a choice. She's basically a prisoner of her evil family. Otto got this whole cycle of bloodshed started by trying to steal Queen Rhaenyra throne and giving it to child grapist Aegon all so he could remain Hand and have his blood on the throne. Now both sides will feel the sting of loss and the realm will burn 🔥
Aegon is the rightful heir rhaenrya is trying to put bastards on the throne. Aegon is a warrior that fights his own battles while rhaenrya just hides and gets defeated by aegon 😂

Aegon fights in one battle on his dragon with help and gets burnt to a crisp and is in bed most of the war recovering does not make him a warrior. No, it's already established he was never the Heir. He's 7th in line after Queen Rhaenyra and her children. This is a fact in both books and show. If you want to believe in fanfiction, that's fine, but don't try to pass it off as fact lol
@@kylethompson3008 aegon fights in 2 dragon battles while having broken bones burnt body also in his first fight he fought the 2nd strongest dragon with sunfyre who is young and not as big. aegon has the best bond with his dragon in the dance and is also a top 3 dragon rider of his time behind daemon and rhaenys. he is definitley a warrior read the books he continues to fight even when hurt.

there’s no way rhaenyra is gonna be okay with jaeherys (an infant) being killed. it makes her look horrible and will hurt her own claim to the throne.
Lets be honest, the Greens are usurpers and Aemond is also a kindslayer, I would say even with Jaehaerys death (which is a cruel act) the Blacks are the least evil ones in the eyes of the lords of westeros.

@@CatherineLaSalle i would honestly be shocked if she was pleased, but i guess it is possible. i find rhaenyra so likable and someone who’s every move i’ve supported so far. i’m curious if the show would really take it there with her character or not. i find it interesting we’re also still seeing the humanity of alicent and how alicent/rhaenyra’s characters contrast and yet still share so many similarities. i think the two might come together this season, apart from the men and all the other forces pushing them to war, to try to work out some form of peace. even tho it may be too late by that point to put a stop to it all. it’s tragic and doomed but beautiful storytelling.

Freaking Bayek of Siwa is in this show! I had to rewind it to be sure when I saw "Abubakar Salim" in the opening credits.
The murder of the child was 10 times worse in the book. They held both her sons at knife point and made Helena choose which son would die, she begged them to kill her instead, finally she chose her younger son. The older boy died instead and the gaurds found Helena screaming clutching her headless son's body

Rheanyra finding her sons remains was more impactful to me than how blood and cheese was done (granted the cutting sound was wild af). Followed by the "they killed the boy" did Helena even like her kid or is has she got some kind of autism

It's been confirmed by the showrunner that Daemon didn't tell them to kill Aegon's son it was all Blood and Cheese as for Aemond the actor who plays him said that Aemond is definitely owning Luke's death like yeah I killed him on purpose
link? I have also seen people saying the show runner CONFIRMED it was plan B yet I have not seen one link from either.... I would like to see/read it for myself. I have asked for links from everyone I have seen say the showrunner has commented on it and no one has been able to provide one. It would seem like a bad spoiler to give from the showrunner, we still have more episodes and chances are likely one or both of Cheese/Blood get caught and reveal the truth so why would the show runner give away spoilers?
No one does, same as no one should condone Lucery’s death. That’s the point. Two innocent children have died because of greed and pettiness, but those two things are mostly the greens’ doing.
