have one on order. howmuch of a pain was it to get into your shop? does the lathe and stand come seperate or are the mounted and crated as one piece? trying to figure out a plan to get mine moved into my shop and wondering if it will be easiest to rent a telehandler.
First thing to do is drain the oil out of the headstock and crossslide and thoroughly clean out all the swarf you will find in there compliments of the chinese.
@@Arckivio Well accidents happen, especially when you might be focused on making a video. But yeah--seems like it should have been more obvious to not make such drastic "adjustments" to the machine's travel when it's in motion. Inertia and all... In any events, it's a nice-looking lathe and I'm grateful for the video(s) he uploaded on this machine.
